Inn Vila Teresinha - Funchal

I would absolutely recommend you to stay at Vila Teresinha. Friendly and layd back accomodation thanks to the wonderful couple running the place.

Nice quiet room (No 1) ,very clean but quite small (although expected at this price !) - public areas very good with great public balcony. Excellent breakfast - this would keep most people going all day. Very friendly and helpful staff. Location good - some good restaurants just down the road.

Agostinho and Caterina were very welcoming and helpful, the pension is spotlessly clean and they've really thought about the little things that make life easier for the budget traveller. Caterina's breakfast is amazing, better than afternoon tea at Reid's hotel! I'll definately be back.

The pension was well run, with friendly service. It was very clean, provided a generous breakfast; the sun terrace was an added bonus, even in February. The location was ideal, and I would happily return if revisiting the island.

Excellent breakfast, lovely large balcony, close to bus station, helpful and friendly staff. Facilities to make your own food and hot drinks, using fridge, microwave. Amazing value for money.

First time at Funchal. The guest house was excellent as were the hosts. Very helpful. The guest house was very clean and the breakfasts were good.

There is a fridge part available, very useful und some dish,ect.. a bit more infos about sihgtseeing, hiking. the patron (very nice) refers to the info desk in the town,

Very nice place to stay in Funchal : quite, simple, well located

If you want 5 star luxury book a 5 star hotel,however if you want a relaxed,welcoming clean and friendly location not too far from the centre then this is the place. We stayed for 3 nights & it was everything we needed.Our bathroom was brand new & although by choice we had a room without a view we were only yards from a delightful balcony where we sat each evening before heading out for our meal.The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice(juice, eggs on toast, ham, cheese, fruit, rolls with jam, cake,toasted sandwich, coffee) & there was also a communal fridge & microwave with plates,utensils etc.for guests to use which was really useful as we bought fresh produce from the market for our lunches.The owner also helped arrange car hire for us.We tried to think of any minus points but could honestly not think of anything. We will certainly stop here again on a future trip.

This is the second time we have stayed here. We stayed for one week and find the location perfect for walking into town for restaurants, buses etc. The pension is very relaxed and the owners are very friendly and hospitable. If you want to avoid the usual modern hotel chains and get closer to the real Funchal then Pension Vila Teresinha is perfect. If you want lots of amenities on site then it won't be for you.

Pension très bien située pour visiter Funchal.Parking pratique au pied non payant la nuit: la voiture y est restée 4 jours et 4 nuits gratuitement.agréable terrasse avec tables où l'on peut apporter son pique-nique. Un grand frigo à disposition où chaque résident a sa place.

Sehr freundliche und angenehme Pension in schöner Lage. Besonders hilfsbereite und nette Besitzer, leckeres erweitertes Frühstück. Unbedingt zu empfehlen.

Peacefull place located at only 5mn walk from the "noisy" centre of Funchal. Nice room (with great view from the balcony) A warm welcome and a good breakfast too... The mamager can arrange car rental very easily... ==> a very good adress!!!

Good Value B&B. Friendly and helpful staff. Good size Breakfast. Bedrooms not big but comfortable and clean. Very close to the City Centre for Buses, Taxis and Restaurants.

It's a very nice Pension in the centre of Funchal.

It is a perfect palce to in stay in Madeira. Don't expect the big hotel. but a nice and quite place five minutes walk from the center. We would raccomended because it is nice to be close to the center rather then surranded by big hotels...plus the owners are really nice and breakfast is big!! If you would like to rent a car just ask them..very easy!! Just note that you have to ask for the twin bad, so they can arrange the right room for u. Rooms with balcony are the best!

Our room was on the second floor, with a privat balcon and see view. This room is excellent.

We had rezervation on 3 days, but we stayed full week 7 days! It is perfekt place and accomodation near center of Funchal. I was good places to travel and way to mountains. We had car on travel to all island.
