The landlady is very nice and generous. My daughter loved the beautiful garden of the house. 10 minutes bus to get to the center. Perfect!

VERY GOOD ADDRESS FOR VISITING FIRENZE: NICE VILLA IN A GARDEN WITH A VERY BEAUTIFUL COMMON ROOM UPSTAIRS (BEAUTIFULL VIEW ON TUSCAN LANDSCAPE AROUND). WALKING DISTANCE TO PIAZZA DEL DUOMO APPROX 30 MIN OR BUS RIDE OF APPROX. 5-10 MIN TO PIAZZA SAN MARCO (A BUS EVERY 20 MIN OR SO). BY THE WAY, PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST BREAKFASTS WE HAVE EXPERIENCED IN ITALY SO FAR, ESPECIALLY: DELICIOUS FRESH PASTRIES AND CAPPUCCINO ALTHOUGH FOR INSTANCE JOGHURT AND FRUIT WERE ALSO AVAILABLE.

The Villa la Sosta was amazing. It is an actual villa with beautifully appointed rooms and grounds, a fabulous bathroom, gorgeous views, a pleasant breakfast, and a wonderful top floor common room with 24-hour refreshments provided. The only potential drawback is its distance from main atractions, as the villa sits on a hill overlooking the city. But in my opinion, the twenty minute walk or short bus ride to city centre is well worth it. I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was short but sweet. Thank you Antonio for being so welcoming and helpful, we wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to return to Florence, and definitely spend our time at Village La Sosta.

This was our first trip to Firenze and our first stay in Villa La Sosta. The flats are in an old villa, owned by one family since the end of 19th century. We are welcomed very warm and friendly. Everytime we feeled very familary and got very good hints about restaurants and public traffic. A bus station is directly at the villa. It was a nice trip and we will come back.

We arrived in Firenze late one day, without plans, not planning to stay longer than day or two, and found one room available at Villa La Sosta, online. Within minutes of booking, the owner called, welcoming us. Upon arrival, we were welcomed personally by Antonio, who spent much time to make us at home, and home it immediately became. Even though passing through, we ended up staying many more days. Since we did not plan ahead we had to move a bit and tried different rooms, all having their own character, and enjoyable. Antonio and the staff are always concerned about your stay and work to it that all is well. The covered outdoor settings make the breakfast most pleasant to look forward to, and a calming day beginning. All restaurants recommended by Antonio were superb, and would never have been found if we stuck to the tourist paths. The walk to centre is not long way really, bus is quick, and with car anything goes. Escaping from the faceless stressing Roma accommodations, our stay in Firenze made for a very relaxing, low key, Italy vacation, combining standard tourism, with home feeling, because of Antonio, and Villa La Sosta. Definitely will return.

Absolutely charming place with family atmosphere. Huge rooms, very comfortable beds, quiet area, but the historic center of Florence is still easy reachable (10 minutes by bus, the bus stop next to the house). The owners also produce excellent wine and cheese!

We liked this place very much. There is a kind of strange, charming, calm and friendly atmosphere floating around it. Our host, Antonio, was very kind and helpful. Our room was very large, clear, clean, superbly decorated and furnished with ancient stuff. The bathroom was also spacious and very nicely decorated however more attention could be given to cleaning the tiles grout and so preserving the beauty of it. A large window + a balcony allowed a nice view over trees and plantations. On the practical side, we appreciated the secured parking and the convenience of bus transportation to the city centre as well as the restaurants suggested by Antonio.

il posto è sicuramente bello ma risulta distante dal centro storico e i servizi offerti non sono all'altezza del prezzo richiesto...misera la colazione e la stanza nn era pulita come si conviene.

A great base for visiting Florence. A little difficult to find when driving from the airport since there are so many one-way streets, so when the map shows you should turn left, you actually cant!! Once found, absolutely charming Italian villa with a lovely garden and lovely view over the countryside. Antonio greeted us and showed us around the Villa and then booked us a fabulous restaurant for dinner that evening which was just 10 minutes walk away. The stay at Villa La Sosta was excellent and would not hesitate to book it again if ever in Florence!

Relly good hotel, looked after really well by the owners who recommended a restaurant and booked a table for us, also booked a restaurant for us on the first night that we had been recommended by a friend who had recently visited florence. Bus stop right outside property which was very convenient as property a good 3/4 hour walk to centre of city. Excellent views from attic room over Tuscan countryside. Owner even got up at 6.45 on last day so we could have breakfast before departing. Room lovely and spacious and bathroom good. Would recommend booking for dinner at balcony restaurant, really good food and full of locals overlooking Ponte Vecchio. Really good place to stay away from noise of city, would definately make a return visit here!

Our room was comfortable and had a beautiful view of a quiet hillside, not too far from the busy streets of Florence. Giusy, the proprietress, was friendly and welcoming upon our arrival. My husband enjoyed the large guests' lounge with windowes on three sides on the top floor of the B&B. We only spent one night there after 5 days staying at a hotel in the historic city center(great hotel)before moving on to Venice. It was a nice reprieve from the crowd. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you, Giusy.

The villa is a lovely place to stay while in Florence. We would definitely stay there again if we ever return. Lovely surroundings, close enough to the attractions, great welcome and a real little community with other residents.

This is a delightful place to stay in Florence - a touch of rural Tuscany just a short distance from the city centre. The host Antonio is both helpful and charming. The property itself is very attractive with all the added extras thAt you would wish for. It is a relaxed and friendly place to stay whilst being attractive and very comfortable. You really can't go wrong with this one.

We were warmly greeted by the owner and her beautiful, regal german shepard. We were immediately given a tour of the villa. An offer was made to make reservations to see "David" and the Officio which saved us waiting in long lines in very hot weather. Breakfast was good and an effort was made to have an early breakfast set out for us before we left to catch a flight. It was appreciated. Also, a cab was arranged for us to take us to the airport which was also very convenient. I would stay again at Villa Sosta should we return to Florence.
