The finest accommodation that we had the pleasure to stay at during our European holiday. The walk up from the bus stop was a bit challenging, but should not discourage anyone from staying there. The views and the B & B are breathtaking. We would not hesitate to return.

We loved I Parigi, the views were great and the service matched. We were wary of the walk up the hill but found it no problem at all. This place is definitely worth the small distance it is from the city centre, the buses were very easy to use anyway. Recommend highly.

This is our second stay in this hotel. And again we are very very satisfied. The owner upgrade our room to superior because of our second stay. The hotel is with the character, stylish with old-fashion. You feel yourself in the real Italy. Surroundings are perfect - cypress trees, lovely nature, view on Florence from the high hill. Is is perfect spot for travelling in Tuscany. We travel each day to different cities by car and every day return to this welcoming hotel for the perfect night and breakfast.

We stayed here for three nights on our tour of Northern Italy and found it to be what was advertised on line. The room was large and it felt like you were in an old castle. However, the common areas were a bit lacking and the breakfast was just "okay" even for European standards. Fresh fruit and a toaster would be appreciated in the mornings. Croissants were fresh. We would probably try to stay at another place if we returned to Florence area.

I Parigi Corbinelli is a jewel nestled in the hills just outside of Florence. This hotel exceeded our expectations. It is exactly what you would picture a villa in Tuscany to look like, we did not want to leave. Our beautiful triple room had a juliet balcony and windows that opened to a lovely view complete with sweetly singing songbirds. The spacious bathroom came equipped with blow dryer and lovely scented bath gels and soap. Breakfast was served on an inner patio with a grassy courtyard. Get down at 8:00am and you will be greeted with the aromas of baking pastries. Make sure you end each evening sitting at the pool watching the sunset with a glass of wine. This is a place to spend a week or more. There is a bus stop at the bottom of a steep hill which makes a trip into Florence easy. The staff is extremely helpful and they go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. We will definitely be returning.

We loved it! The setting and the pool were beautiful. It was nice having the breakfast and snacks, but it would be nice to have a few more items on the menu. Negatives were no elevator and hard beds, although all the beds in Italy were hard! Overall, a great stay.

This BB is excellent! The location is perfect - on the hill there you will find very picturesque views. The area is very green and you will enjoy walking in the park near the hotel. The hotel itself looks like an ancient castle. Breakfast is good, includes not only croissants, but also eggs, meat, cheese etc. Host is very friendly and speaks excellent English. It is easy to get to the hotel from autostrade using indicators on the site. Also there is a bus stop not far from the hotel, and in 15 minutes you will be in the heart of the Florence! We enjoy our stay in this hotel very much, unfortunately we spend only 1 night in Florence, but we will definitely return to this city and to this hotel! Very good value for money!

We booked a standard double room for a week in November. Occupancy rates in the off season are about 60%, so to make our stay as comfortable as possible, I Parigi upgraded our room at no extra charge. I Parigi is high on a hilltop. The walk from the bus stop is about one km, all uphill. I recommend taking a taxi from the airport on arrival unless your baggage is minimal. The oldest wing and the well are about 1000 years old, and the place is truly magnificent - great atmosphere and very comfortable. No lifts, but easy and very safe staircases. Breakfast is self-service and excellent, with breads, cheeses, cold meat, cereals, yoghurt, an egg-boiler and a capsule espresso machine that actually makes very good espresso! We were encouraged to explore the substantial estate - olive groves and vineyards. We were too late to witness the grape harvest and wine-pressing, but did see the olive harvesting in full swing. The setting and views are breathtaking. Marco provides a free trip to Florence every day at 9:15 or so - it's only ten minutes. There are buses to bring you back, or you can grab a cab for less than 20 euros. We spent two days in Florence (who wouldn't?) and one day in Siena. Marco took us to the bus stop for the Siena trip. Marco, Guido and their staff treated us like royalty and made us very welcome. On the day we explored the estate, we returned with muddy shoes, which we removed at the door and left to dry while we went upstairs to change. Before I could return to retrieve them, one of the staff cleaned them for us and returned them to our room. Service, setting, ambience, style, location, wine and food. All first-class, low-key and top-class! We are rested and sated; we want to come back...

This place is simply awesome. Except: - there's no on-location restaurant, but you can get a few nice dishes of home-made pasta which are quite good, and a great collection of wines! Also there's a few good restaurants not far. - the taxi to the centre is about 12-14 EUR, or you can take a bus. If you have your own car however, these problems are all gone. The owners give free car rides to the immediate surroundings, and are very nice and helpful. We were also upgraded free from a standard to a superior room. The surroundings are typical Toscanian hills with olive and vineyards, a beauty to look at. We'd definitely come back!

The villa was in a lousy state. Especially the kitchen was not equipped with necessary things, the washing machine was practically out of order, since you could not open the door after washing. A good part of the garden furniture was broken, the garden itself looked like a dump.

We had originally booked I Parigi for 2 nights but on the way there my partner suggested we stay an additional 2 nights and she was so right. This place was in a beautiful setting overlooking the Tuscan country side with easy access to Florence and Tuscany. Our hosts, Marco and his brother were extremely welcoming and gave us a full apt for the 4 night stay. They recommended a panoramic route around Tuscany and even highlighted a map for us to take and follow. The pool was a great relief at the end of each day and the sunsets from there were breathtaking. I would highly recommend this great place to stay - it is a great jumping off spot to see Florence, the Tuscan countryside and we even went on a day trip to the Cinque Terre from here. Stay, relax and enjoy - like we did! The breakfast area was great, the staff was excellent and the hosts were the best!

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was a great retreat from Florence, about 25 minutes south by city bus. Lovely place! The only drawback is that if you get tired from sightseeing, it's a distance to get back. Galluzzo has limited options for dinner, but the pizzaria on the north-east corner of the main square appeared to be a family owned place; food was great and authentic (not as touristy) - corner of Via Senese & Via Gherardo Silvani. If you want to get away from the crowds, stay here!

This was the highlight of our trip. We upgraded a room and was put in a room w/ a cozy nook that had windows on three sides of it. (I believe room number 6.) The pictures and sounds of just sitting there and enjoying the Tuscan landscape were amazing. We would stay here again and again as it is just peaceful and calming. Breakfast was great each day and the rooms were picked up each day as well, which was unexpected. There is no doubt all in my party were impressed with I Parigi. I HIGHLY recommend it!

Ci torneremo.

I Parigi-Residenza d'Epoca is a FANTASTIC place to stay. The building is beautiful and the fixtures (plumbing/heating/AC) are new. We stayed in the 'Tower Room' and it was furnished perfectly. The views were breathtaking. Very Tuscan. They make their own wine which is very good. It was wonderful to stay outside Florence and yet we could be in the city in 10 minutes drive time. I have recommended this Residenza to all my friends.

The management of this B&B was excellent. They allowed us to check-in late, and gave us the best room with the best view (room number 5 at the top of the castel tower). The single most important criteria for us was to have a great view of the surrounding hills from our room. I can't imagine there being better views anywhere in Tuscany. There were not enough photos of the views when we booked, so I added some. Although this website only allows photos less than 2 MB... so the best photos did not make it. The breakfast was excellent. The only drawback may be if you do not have a car. A taxi into the city center was about 40 Euros, but there is a bus you can catch from the bottom of the hill for about 2 to 4 Euros. I debated whether or not to show photos because I want the room to be available the next time we visit.

The hotel is very nice, the staff friendly on the rare occassion of seeing any. The room was clean, we had the 'tower room' which was unusual and we loved it. The breakfast, which was limited as is most continential breakfasts, was served outside but covered which was very quaint. The views were fabulous as you could see over Florence. The distance from Florence to the hotel was approximately 10 minutes in the car and with out Satelite Navigation made the journey easy to do, we found some lovelly restaurants in Florence. We would definately stay there again, it is in a very romantic setting. 10 out of 10 for cleanliness and quality for money. Directions were ok, but I doubt we would have found it so easily if it were not for the sat nav. 10 out of 10 for comfort and design. Basically a very nice B&B which we would highly recommend to others, but not families especially with small children.

Rooms overall were decent, but we had a bit of a mold problem in the bathroom that was due to heavy spring rains. Staff was very, very helpful. Only other issue was lack of restaurants around the resort - don't bother with the one at the bottom of the large hill - it's a stop on the tourist bus routes. The views were beautiful and good for a romantic getaway.

As with most things in & around Florence, 'I Parigi' was slightly overpriced and a little full of itself. Hospitable is not a word I would use in association with this hotel; it's as if you are imposing on the folks there. If you're looking for a nice view, 'I Parigi' is incomparable--it is undeniably a beautiful castle atop a hill in Tuscany surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. The sights and sounds, wonderfaul as they were, just didn't outweigh the overwhelming feeling that we were not welcome.

Marco, our host, spoke excellent English and was extremely helpful with directions and recommendations. The Parigi is located at the top of a hill. We had a car so the long climb from the main road was not a problem, and if you're reasonably fit the walk up is nice anyway. You do not want to be dragging luggage up however. I Parigi is in a beautiful location and all the taxi drivers knew where it was. It is on the top of a hill and the climb would be very daunting. We walked down the hill and took the bus which stops at the bottom on the driveway. The climb after a full day would defeat most people. If you have a car, there would be no problem. They also have a shuttle that they used one day during a mini bus strike to take us into Florence. We found a taxi stand outside the Boboli Gardens and it was a 10 euro taxi ride back to I Parigi. It is a beautiful old villa and the two brothers who own it are great hosts. We had a very good breakfast each morning. Our room faced the courtyard and we found it quite noisy when people would come in later at night and close the iron gate. We are light sleepers so this would waken us. The beds were very good and the rooms very clean. They have beautiful grounds and a big swimming pool. The weather was in the 80's in early October,so we wish we had taken our bathing suits. We did sit out by the pool and took in the beautiful view. I would recommend I Parigi to other travellers.

My wife and I stayed at I Parigi in late September; without a doubt it was our best hotel experience. The views of the tuscany landscape were breathtaking. The facilities are great. Guido and Marco, members of the family who own the B and B, could not have been more helpful. The room that we had was one of the upper rooms with a large terrace; the views were best of the facility. We had to climb several flights of stairs but the fabulous views made it worth every step. The B and B is outside of Florence but the peaceful and serene setting was just what my wife and I needed. Bus transportation to and from Florence is convenient; it helps to give the bus driver your stop orally or in writing (see directions on website). The climb up the hill is steep but not difficult( we are in our fifties). We definitely hope to stay again!!

It was a pleasure to stay at I Parigi. Our room was the largest that we had the opportunity to stay in in Italy. The grounds were beautiful. We wish we could have stayed longer and just stayed there. The breakfast was very good. Beware, the eggs are raw and you must cook them. The couple beside us didn't know that and he cracked the egg thinking it was hard boiled. We all laughed!! We ate outside and the view was fantastic. The bus ride into Florence was ok. Every time we rode we were certain we were going the wrong way, but we made it back safely every time.!! You can get the bus tickets at I Parigi, but you will have to pay for them at the end of your stay. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Beautiful and very tranquil surroundings. I Parigi is a unique bed and breakfast situated high on top of a hill. If you are taking the bus to this location and plan on walking to the place with all of your luggage - it's a mile long, very steep hike. We were fortunate to be picked up by a family staying at I Parigi who had the sense enough to be driving a car! One more thing, we were swarmed by bees at breakfast each morning. My husband asked if he could move our food inside to eat and was told "no." This was the only negative. Everything else was very nice. Joe and Kelly Cleveland, Ohio

This was a magical place. From the outstanding service by the family to the quiet setting in the Tuscan countryside,it was heaven. Staying at I Parigi was the highlight of our three week trip to Italy. It was the perfect counter balance to the frentic pace and heat of Florence. Watching the sun set from the pool was so relaxing and drinking the home made housewine was a culinary treat. The only thing that would have made our stay better is if we had a car. We could have explored the countryside and spent more time in the treasures of Florence. The taxis were expensive and the bus was not always reliable. The uphill climb to the property was steep.

WOW!! We are still waiting for the catch. We felt like royalty had invited us to stay in their home, for practically nothing! We can't say enough. It was even easy to find coming in on the Auto strada. One caveat -- if you're not in good walking shape, the hike up and down the hill to the bus stop might be rough. In the high season, they have a shuttle, but we had to take the bus (15-20 min. ride into town.) Marco even had bus tickets for sale! Breakfast was the best we had in Italy. The place was set amid beautiful Tuscan hills about a 13 Euro taxi ride out of Florence (regular buses are also available). The facilities are beautiful and full of old charm. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. Bathroom was spotless. The welcome provided is genuinely warm without being in any way intrusive and the owners went over and above their duty to make us comfortable (e.g. vegan breakfasts etc). I would recommend this place to anyone, and I will certainly aim to visit again, hopefully in the summer when the outdoor pool (with what must be the best pool view in Europe) is open.

What a gem. The photos of this place really don't do it justice. Its a beautiful old house, but the rooms are all modern and recently updated. It had a/c, satellite & a huge room. You could see for miles from this place. It has all the charm of a B&B but all of the conveniences of a 4 star hotel. The restaurant recommendations that the family gave were the best restaurants we ate at in Italy. The only draw back (if you could call it that)to this fantastic B&B is that you have to have a car to get to it.
