This was our first visit to Floralia and Florence. Our hostess, Sylvia, was excellent. She made us feel welcomed and at home. What struck me especially about Floralia is how clean it is. For me, cleanliness is absolutely key and I'd give Floralia 10 without hesitation.

Get some a/c pls!! Mid June and so difficult to sleep because it's too hot and stuffy and if you open the windows you get mosquitoes cuz lack of screen. Old style locks and keys make it noisy and bit difficult to go in and out. Silvia and her brother are really friendly and gave great recommendations for everything FlorentIne. Great location. Tip: house numbers are in red and black so look for the BLACK #9 (it's further down after the red one)

We had the large front room with the street view. Sylvia and Sabino (brother and sister) weresowelcoming and helpful. They suggested Casalinga restaurant accross the river which was wonderful, authentic and had a great local buzz.

The bed and breakfast is really nice. The problem is that's the noisiest hotel I have ever been in. Until 2am there is incredible noise from the bar just in front the hotel (people gather in the street), and really early they clean the street and there is also a construction work... so it's impossible to sleep more than 4 hours. Besides this, the people was very very nice and helful, and the location is perfect. The room also is very good, clean and huge.

This B&B is in a fantastic location, in one of Florence's busiest streets. We had the room overlooking this street and it was NOISY! Great room, but impossible to block out the noise! Can't rate the breakfast, as they were renevating, so we were given a voucher to a cafe quite close, which made the worst coffee I had in Italy! All in all a great little hotel, just be aware that if you get the front room, take your earplugs!

Location was great. Noisy till late and again early. No hotwater in the evening or the next morning for showers. As a B&B there was no kitchen or breakfast but an excuse given and offered a free breakfast some 25mins walk away.

We had the most wonderful stay I could have ever asked for! My (now) husband and I are no strangers to Europe or B&B's, but this place exceeded any expectations we could have had. Sabino and Sylvia were hospitable, welcoming, kind and warm. This was, by far, the best experience I have ever had in Europe. We were in the inner double room with private exterior bath. It was very quiet and spacious. Friends of ours were in rooms facing the street and they spoke of it being slightly noisy in the mornings, but Floralia is located RIGHT in the heart of Florence. As with any major city, there is more noise the closer you are to the centre. Also, its Europe and that kind of thing is to be expected. The location is priceless, the breakfast was standard continental and the hosts were unbeatable. I will not even think about staying any place else when I visit Florence next.

An outstanding B&B. Right in the heart of Florence, steps from the Duomo and on a street with many restaurants. Silvia and Sabino were excellent hosts. Great breakfast and free internet! They allowed us to keep our luggage there for the day after check-out while we toured Florence. Strongly recommend. The front bedroom could be noisy because it overlooks the street. Second floor, no elevator.

Sabino and Silvia are the hosts and are very welcoming and helpful. Sabino's english is very good and he has great suggestions as far as food and sights to see. The location is wonderful, just a few steps from the duomo, although our room was a tad loud because we were right above a hopping street...but this just added to the atmosphere. The apartment is bright, fabulously decorated and extremely clean! Its a shared bathroom, but it too is clean and very big for an Italy bathroom. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all!

My wife and I had a very pleasant weeks stay. Silvia and her brother were very helpful and friendly. The B and B could not really have been more central. The breakfast was satisfying. The room was comfortable and clean. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Silvia and her brother Sabino are both very nice and they do their best to make you feel confortable. The place is very wellington situated, you really ARE very close to the Duomo and San Lorenzo. You're so close That there is a bad side: because I was there in august, it was very hot even at night so I slept w the windows opened... And got waken up at 7:30 am every morni g by Szn Lorenzo! The breakfast is pretty basic and I think they improve this point. Everything else is fine

I stayed here for a few days in July. The owners were so friendly and helpful. I felt like I was treated as a friend. A dinner was held for the guests one evening which made the stay special. Great location aswell- 1 minute from the Duomo.

Nice place and very friendly people. Clean with lots of Ikea furniture :-) Location is perfect, but the rooms with view to the street are very noisy. Breakfast is Italian, so prepare for a lot of sugar. Over all, very good quality for the price.

The best thing about Floralia was Sylvia, she was very friendly and always happy to help with any questions we had about what to do, where to go and how to find things. Our room was bright, colourful and spacious. It was noisy, but for the price and the location it was worth putting up with. We would return to Floralia when next in Florence.

I had the most wonderful stay at this B&B out of the entire Italy. The hostess is warm and friendly. I felt welcomed and at home. The place is easy to find and only about 20 steps from the main attractions, Duomo and Baptistry. The place is convenient and yet quiet. Thank you Sylvia for a memorable stay in Florence!

Lovely hotel for the price, very kind staff. Room a bit noisy (could hear the man next door snoring all night!) and bed really uncomfortable. For a few nights, a great choice, for a longer stay would choose elsewhere.

The location of this hotel, absolutely excellent.Just, DONT GO WITH CAR.There is no parkig around and the traffic...MAdness.There was cheaper parking not so far at 25 euro per 24 hr.The host is very helpfull and loves chating :-).Everything was clean. The room can be a little noise as it is central so people out out partying or whatever. If you dont mind this is perfect. One more thing, you have to share the bathroom with others, so...you might need to wait for it.

Location of this B&B is excellent being right at Piazza Doumo. Ms. Silvia made our stay very comfortable and provided us with all the assistance that we needed. Very nice hosts indeed. The room was quite spacious. The breakfast was really nice. The stay was very comfortable, though an attached bathroom within the room would have been nicer. We did have a dedicated bathroom, but it wasn't attached. The other thing I noticed about the property is that you have to climb up two flights of stairs - not very convenient if you have heavy luggage, wheelchairs or prams to carry as there are no lifts. However to be fair, the host did help us in lugging our luggage up those stairs.

Silva

It wasn't written on the internet site that the private bathroom was out of the room. Like we were only the two of us in the hotel the first night, it was stupid to pay a private bathroom. So they have to specify that the bathroom is out of the room and if there is nobody in the hotel, it's normal to pay at the normal price. Except this it was an excellent place to stay with a very nice host. Thank you for all
