I remember the information I got before booking indicating that this B&B was near the train station, but it is actually a ten minute walk. Not a huge deal if you don't have much baggage, but it is one of the longest walks possible in tiny Florence. The staff's English is not great and there is no elevator. Call before you go because there is no reception.

Got a bit noisy as all rooms were next to reception, so could hear everything when people were coming and going. Shower poor, no pressure at all. Nice little continental breakfast left- except couldn't find kettle for coffee! Rooms spacious, big comfortable bed and located only 10/15 minute walk from main station

Basic for a buisness trip. The sluice system of the toilet gives bad smell. Comfortable bed.

We arrived and sat waiting for 3 hours. We called the number outside multiple times and no answer. We had to go to the tobacco shop and they rang to get someone to come and open the door. The location is about a 15-20 minute walk with luggage obviously quicker without. If you keep walking past the accommodation there are restaurants and shops which we discovered. The room was ok but we were lucky as some of the other rooms looked very tiny. The street noise is loud but the window blocks it out. This means you can't get fresh air I you want the quiet. We called from the phone in the entry area to checkout which went smoothly. Overall the check in process was horrific and really needs to be changed. The bathroom is ok but was not the cleanest and seemed to run out of toilet paper daily. It was an experience but not one I would choose to repeat.

Very cute designed rooms, safe neighborhood, nice breakfast. No reservation desk, hard to find someone responsible. Private bathroom is outside the room (you have to cross the main hall). Little far from the city center.

The room is comfortable and clean. Yet, it is quite far away from the train station and is located at the opposite side of major tourist spots. If location is not your major concern, this hostel would be nice. Please make sure that you can make phone call to contact the staff for check-in since there is no reception counter in the building.

we traveled across italy and visited another 5 towns and B&Bs and this was our worst experience.Lady that welcomed us didn't speak much english but what we mind is that she didn't show much effort either. In other B&Bs staff would at least try to be helpful, would give us town map, point where is bus stop or shop or whatever. Room was small but we didn't mind that, however it did smell bad on mosquito repellent. Walls are very thin and you can hear what your neighbors doing and that doesn't make stay pleasant either. There is no kitchen facility in this B&B and you will get poor "breakfast" on the table in your room however there will be no cutlery in your room to spread jam on your toast( you wont get butter either). room in which we stayed looks much nicer on the photos so we felt disappointed.

The room was big clean and with very good air conditioning. The bed was really small and the matrass very very thin (which was really not pleasant to sleep in). The walls were paperthin. Because of this we couldn't sleep any longer than 9a.m. because the landlady talked really loud with guests hat were checking out. Overall in Italy I know that breakfast isn't really their thing, but it was very poor. Good coffee though. The location of the B&B is quiet good (close to the trainstation). Since the rooms are cheap we cannot complain so much, but on a holiday I do like to sleep well and this wasn't provided with the small bed, bad (thin) matrass and noise in the morning.

This was our favorite stay of our entire Europe trip. The place was great; attached bathroom/shower, big bed, access to espresso machine, and low cost. The only thing that was a drawback to the B&B was its location. Florence is not a large town, but it was a bit of a walk from all of the main attractions, and as two girls, we didnt feel comfortable walking around the area after dark.

We stayed at Bed & Bed Cassia for two nights. From the railway station of Santa Maria Novella, 10 minutes walk. The area is also quiet. To the center (Piazza della Republic) walk for about 25 minutes. There are buses, but we don't deal with them. The guest house quiet, only 5 rooms, there is a shared refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer. Internet works normal. Shared bathroom, clean, problems with the use never arose. To check-in we needed to call on owner, he came in 5 minutes. The room is spacious, with a TV, air conditioning and all necessary furniture, cleaned dayly. Brekfast was typical Italian - coffee, croissants and toast with jam. If you come to Florence for a few days and are looking for affordable hosting - don't hesitate and immediately book this B&B.

Excellent in terms of quality, price was super just 27 euro a night for a king-sized bed. Room was cleaned, silenced and fully serviced with air conditioned, ty, wi-fi. Bathroom and refrigerator to be shared. It's pretty far from the center, but getting something better for this price is not possible. Breakfast is a little bit poor. All in all I kindly suggest this B&B to travellers and couples, very good.

The landlord almost can not speak english. My wife can speak spanish. So she has to quess the landlord's meaning through spanish words. Generally speaking, it is allright. but it is not very good to not refund us small bills. She just said she doesn't have cash with her. There is no reception. Only a desk. You hardly can find anyone on duty there during day and night. The night before we checked out, we had to wait for her arrival in the hotel for nearly 2 hours till 9:30pm.

The facility is a long walk away from the train station, and none of the buses go there directly (better for going towards the station, Florence buses follow circular routes). The second floor location is actually a North American third floor. The room was OK, but there was no air conditioning; there is no staff on-site except when some guest is expected to arrive. There is no breakfast provided except coffee you have to make yourself (with one small milk container), one croissant, one bottle of water and two small dry bread packages. I stayed 4 nights; initially there were 2 jam servings, but when those were used up they were not replaced. I did get a replacement croissant every day though.

We stayed there for two nights. If your travelling by train then carrying your bags or backpacks a short distance to your hotel is OK. When you find the hotel, you need to phone the number on the plaque, and an enthusiastic person will soon turn up and let you in. The traffic is loud outside, but with the closed window and air-conditioning you won't hear anything. Breakfast was really small, but always ready. The only thing we didn't like was that we could not find any utensils for eating there. In general, it is a bit of a walk into the city, but it isn't a bad walk at all. A good place for budget travellers.

Althought this is non-service apartment, but they give travellers a good and freedom space to be relax. They supply a lot of coffee and tea bag with generosity. I like my room has a small balcony. I feel the owner want to satisfy their customer as well as possible.

Cassia B&B was a very pleasant surprise in Firenze. We were travelling with our 10 years old boy so we were looking for a quiet, clean place, not very expensive, and Cassia B&B proved to be really an excellent choice. Spotlessly clean, very quiet, near the historical center. 10 out of 10. I have two comments: although we announced by mail and phone our arrival time, we had to call again (and wait something like 10-15 min) for there was nobody to open the door. And, oh, well, maybe I did not know how to make the air conditioning machine warm up the room, but for mid October, it was a tad chilly indoors.
