Marco was very helpful in pointing out sites to visit and means of transportation. Room was clean. The loft bed was a bit strange and put one closer to the ceiling where it was easy to hear the person upstairs walking about. Breakfast was basic and by voucher at a cafe across the street. The location was convenient and we would consider staying there again.

We stayed at Bed & Breakfast BB Porta San Frediano for 4 nights! It was wonderful! The location was in the older part of Florence, so away from all the busy tourist areas. But it was easily walkable to the center of Florence and close to the train station. This B&B has a very homelike feeling, which we loved! Marco was absolutely amazing. He greeted us with a map, and recommended local places to see and eat that where not to expensive. And when we needed anything, he was very quick to help us. Breakfast was a drink and two pastries from a local cafe very close by. The pastries were always fresh and the coffee always perfect! I highly recommend this B&B if you are staying in Florence.

This B&B consist of three rooms in a ground floor flat. The room has great character. Marcos welcomed us and gave us good advice about what to see and how to get there. The small kitchen area was very useful so we did not always have to eat out. Breakfast is provided by a cafe across the road. The token gave us a good cup of coffee and two croisants. Some visitors exchanged for something savory. The cafe was full of locals having a quick bite before going to work. We also bought filled paninis to take away for lunch.

First time stay. Hosts very welcoming . Bit of a trek into city, but buses and supermarkets close by.My room was a good size, had a fridge and dining table and couch . The bed was on a mezzanine , not good if you are not fit enough to climb up wooden stairs to bed and down for bathroom. The cafe where voucher used for breakfast was very close and a good and tempting choice .

We were travelling in a group of 4, so we were offered 2 rooms on the same floor, next to each other, which was very convenient. Marco, the hotel owner, was very nice and helpful.

We stayed there for 2 night, we had a very nice stay. The location is good,it is not in the center but about 10 minutes walk. But dont except to find a hotel, because it is a house that rent out some rooms, but the rooms are nice, with some kitchen facilities and a small back patio, and the owner is very polite and helpfull.
