A moderate place,nothing wrong really. Breakfast was served downstairs at the reception and not in the nice terrace at the roof(a bit messy,could have been nicer if tidied up)Quite plain breakfast,real orange juice with ordinary baguette or toast and a crepe,same type of marmalade every morning(5 days)At departure,breakfast was promised till 0630,but the guy(who was supposed to wake us up as well!)slept well...On a whole,no bad place,but not exciting either. We never saw any adult responsible,just young servants.Not possible to discuss the price för 5 days, Was situated in a narrow path just off the main street,convinient for all walks.The bathroom was old and without door to the bedroom.Can recommend it as a medium place.

We stayed here for 4 nights at beginning of April and had a lovely time. The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The location was ideal for us as it was just in the middle of the medina. Definitely would not hesitate to stay there again.

Romantically furnished in tasteful Morroccan style, excellent location in a side street off one of Essaouira's main streets - just a short walk to the harbour,Sqala and beach. Breakfast lounge on ground floor charming with fountain, plants and rose petals. Breakfast itself simple, yet adequate. Nadia on reception most helpful and friendly. Roof terrace excellent for sun worshippers - shielded from the famous Essaouira winds by the turreted walls. The only problem is the climate - Essaouira is very damp. Sunny and warm in the day, but most of the year cold and damp at night, so take lots of warm clothes.
