The entrance to the hotel was dirty. Very noisy. Moved to another hotel the next night. The staff were very nice and helpful, but the pub below our room was really loud. Coy's from New Mexico USA
How to reach Links Hotel
By car
From City Bypass: exit at the Lothianburn Junction from the A702 motorway, continue straight into town until you reach Bruntsfield Place. Turn right onto Whitehouse Loan at the end of Bruntsfield Place.
By train
From Waverley train station: walk along Princes street and turn left up Lothian road. Continue onto Earl Grey street, Home street then Leven street. Turn left into Whitehouse Loan; the hotel is on the left.
By airplane
From Edinburgh airport: there is a bus from the airport which costs approx. £3.00 single, £5.00 return. Get off the bus at Shandwick Place, then turn left and walk to Lothian road. Catch LRT bus number 11, 15, 16 or 17 to Bruntsfield Place. Whitehouse Loan is on the left.

The reception area and hotel lounge, are manned by our friendly team based in the bar. Overlooking the Bruntsfield Links there is a patio area in front of the hotel where al fresco eating and drinking can be enjoyed.
Alternatively, meals are served until 10 p.m. each day in the bar. The bar is open until 1 a.m. daily.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.

Check-in: guests may check in anytime after 2 p.m.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the rooms not later than 11 a.m.
