Very good rooms, and a lovely family which will behave always thinking in make your life and your stay more wonderful. And example: my dream was play golf in a Scotland course. They give me the oportunity, helping me in all. About food, It's near Salisbury Arms, one of the greatest restaurant in Edinburgh (UK traditional food), breakfast in hotel were nice with fully fruit, and always fresh. I do not breakfast so much, but it was nicely, relaxing and lovely. I were 4 nights, and all was perfect!

Good position: twenty minutes walking down the centre, possibility to take also the bus just in the corner of the street. Great view of Arthur's Seat from the window!!! The room was small but comfortable, delicious breakfast (english and continental), Donna was very kind to us. We parked in the street for free in front of the hotel. Recommended!!!

This is a lovely house in a very quiet neighbourhood, with great views of Arthur's seat. Public transport is good with several bus services to the city centre. The breakfast is very nice with a great range of fresh fruits. The lady of the house is very kind and helpful, she even helped with printing out my boarding pass. Highly recommended!

This was a very warm and welcoming guest house. Bedrooms were very comfortable and had everything you needed. It was more like staying as a guest in someone's home than in a hotel. The only (minor) disadvantages were that the bathroom was very small and while it was possible to walk into central Edinburgh, it was a bit too far to walk back at night or at the end of a busy day sightseeing or shopping, resulting in quite a large expenditure on taxis.

Lovely place to stay, we enjoyed expecially the healthy breakfast with good choice of fresh fruit and relaxing classical music from the stereo. Warm welcome, everything is accurate and clean. And it's a short walk or a 5 mins bus ride from the centre,

The welcoming of our hostess, Donna, was amazing. She was always available to give us tips, look at our comfort, or simply chat with us. The breakfast also is amazing and can be customized following our taste. It is well situated since it is at the corner of a bus stop that passes frequently and brings you downtown in less than 10 minutes. Also, we had no problem finding parking around the house. The only thing is that the beds could have been more comfortable.

The guesthouse might not be that close to the city centre, but it's well within walking distance. There are also several bus lines going downtown from there. It's close to the Holyrood Park and I had a nice view of Arthur's Seat from my room. I only stayed for two nights, but definately wish I could have stayed longer. The hostess, Donna, was extremely helpful and generous, and the breakfast was wonderful! Best scrambled eggs I ever eaten! And the selection of fruits and berries was better than what you'd expect from a hotel of three times the price... Donna makes a real effort into making the breakfast a great experience, and it is.

I was on a buisness trip and only stayed for one night. I was a bit disappointed that I had two flights of stairs to climb - one to the house, the other to the rooms, as I have had a broken ankle and am a bit wobbly. It should perhaps have been made clear that stairs were involved for others of dubious mobility. However, the lady of the house was very welcoming and helpful and insisted on carrying my bag despite her having a broken shoulder! The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. A choice of twelve dishes of different fruits and six cerals and then anything you wanted as a hot course. An enjoyable stay. The whole place was very tastefully decorated and I enjoyed my stay!

It is a nice home accommodation - a few rooms upstairs and the host on the first floor. Very friendly hostess who makes wonderful breakfast with very good coffee and a very wide selection of fruits. Free wifi. Good place to stay, but maybe a bit overpriced.
