New Year Festival, Rugby Internationals, August booking 30 days notice, 25% non-refundable deposit required. The balance must be fully paid at least 30 days before arrival. Standard bookings for other times: If cancellation is less than 15 days prior to arrival, the full cost of the stay is charged. A 10% non-refundable deposit is required. The balance must be fully paid at least 15 days before arrival. An admin charge of 10% of the total booking fee applies to all cancellations.You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 30 days before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".

I was charged 129 poundes and across st or several other places I looked they were charging only 70 pounds, first day I oredered breakfast scottish style, amount of scrambles egg was two table spoon full. I think I should be refunded money, ofcourse he gave me 20 pounds for failuar of hot water, I went by four stars but I think I should have saved money and gone to three stars, It was outrageous price, and may be they have poor rating system

Room Details
Each of the 9 rooms at the MW Townhouse Guest House is decorated with original features and soothing combination of caramel, cream, chocolate and cinnamon shades, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Accommodation comes with free wireless Internet access and Sky channels, and is bound to suite your individual needs.The Cardhu and Rosebank Rooms have suede-upholstered queen beds and en suite shower facilities. Both of which are suitable for double occupancy. The Bunnahabhain Room, with an en suite bathroom, and the Laphroiag Room, with en suite shower facilities, are both designed with families in mind, and are suitable for up to 4 people.
The Talisker Room, with en suite shower facilities, and Tomintoul Room, with an en suite bathroom, can be used as a double, twin or even as a triple room, while the Drambuie is a single room with a private bathroom, although not en suite.
Finally, the jewel in the crown of this extra special guest house is the Edradour Honeymoon Suite, in which you will find bay windows, a king-sized upholstered bed with a canopy and a bathroom with bath and shower.

How to reach MW Townhouse Inn
By carFrom the west: go via the M8 Motorway, then take the A8 and then the A720 for City Bypass South until Sheriff Hall Roundabout. Take the exit for the A7, sign posted City Centre, until Cameron Toll Roundabout. Follow the road round under railway bridge and then take the first left onto Dalkeith Road (A7) for around 1 mile (1.6 km). The MW Townhouse is situated on left-hand side, on the corner of Dalkeith Road and Spence Street. Alternatively, go to the via Edinburgh City Centre as follows. Take the M8 Motorway (City Bypass North), then the M9 Motorway, the A8, and afterwards the M90 Motorway, following signs for the City Centre. Go down Corstorphine Street, Haymarket, Lothian Road, Meadows and Dalkeith Road (Commonwealth Pool). The MW Townhouse is situated around 0.5 miles/800 metres down hill, on the corner of Dalkeith Road and Spence Street.
From the east: take the M1 Motorway/A1 and follow signs for Forth Bridge/Airport. At Sheriff Hall Roundabout, take the exit signposted A7 City Centre, and continue until Cameron Toll Roundabout. Follow the road around under the railway bridge and then take a first left onto Dalkeith Road (A7). Continue for around 1 mile (1.6 km) and the MW Townhouse is situated on left-hand side, on the corner of Dalkeith Road and Spence Street. Alternatively stay on the A1 (bypass signs for Forth Bridge) and follow signs for the City Centre/Leith to the exit sign posted for Craigmiller/Musselburgh (B&Q, Wickes and Fort Kinnaird Shopping Centre can be seen from road just before exit). At the roundabout, go left and over the roundabout, staying on the main road through the shopping centre to Cameron Toll Roundabout. Go right around the roundabout (4th exit) onto Dalkeith Road (A7) and the MW Townhouse is around 1 mile (1.6 km) up on the left-hand side, on the corner of Dalkeith Road and Spence Street.
By bus
take bus nos. 14, 21, 33 (Lothian Regional Transport) or 86 (First Bus) to the guest house.
By airplane
From Edinburgh Airport: It take approximately 25 minutes by taxi and will cost approximately £15.00. Alternatively, there is an inexpensive and frequent bus service to the city centre, which costs around £3.50. When you arrive you can catch a local bus, see above for more details.
