Lovely little B&B ideally placed for the zoo and access to Edinburgh centre. Easy bus travel to and from the centre with no hassles just walk out of the door and the bus stop is right there, especially great as first time in Edinburgh. The accomodation was lovely for the price and well worth it. Beds were comfortable unlike some cheaper b&bs. Food was lovely and cooked to order so no overcooked food from bain maries. We stayed in the room with the separate private bathroom but there was no problem with this as we never bumped into any of the other guests as they were always in their rooms. I have been told it is going to be incorporated as an en suite soon which would make the room perfect. Lovely place definitely as advertised.

Internet maps do not show address "Downie Terrace". "Downie Grove" lead us to the backside of the property. We stayed in room #3 and some inconvenience was caused by separate bathroom (entry from corridor)and missing table or at least a chair in the room. All the rest was quite acceptable.

Rooms are very well decorated and very spacious. It is now really downtown but there are many buses to reach there in only 15 min.
