Baggot Court Townhouse - Dublin

The property is located rather away from city center, means, you need at least 30 min walk to reach any places e.g. restaurant, cafe, even small shop. Actually the hotel manager said there was nothing near the hotel when I asked if she could recommend good places to eat. The streets around the hotel get empty after 6~7pm so I never recommend this hotel for single traveler, especially if you are a woman, please seek for other accomodations which are much near city center to avoid walk through deserted areas. One more issue is the sound. The wall of this hotel is quite thin and you can clearly hear all sounds from the next room. The person next door to me kept TV on ALL NIGHT LONG in very loud volume so it completely prevented me from sleep. It was ridiculous....

It takes a good 15 minutes to reach one of the two main shopping street. If you need some quick bites comes evening, it's quite a distance to walk. The room is much smaller that I thought it would be. Facing the road made it quite a challenge to have a good night sleep. Especially when it's summer and it's too hot to close the window. I wouldn't recommend at all for family with kids. Unless there are family rooms facing the backyard. Those on budget, travelling along or young couple, it's not so bad.

Good B & B ; our first room # 5 has a very tiny bathroom and we were gald to change for room # 2 which was perfect. The room # 3 on Baggot Street is a little bit noisy during the night.

I didn't have a problem with noise but that was because my neighbors were very considerate...in America or with noisy neighbors it could have been a problem. I think most people who stay at a B&B respect others space. I would probably stay there again because of the price and location and I'm sure if noise were a problem they would move me.

I was warmly welcomed in the hotel. The staff provided me with precise information about restaurants, museums, shopping areas and other services. The continental breakfast was rich and delicious.

This was my first visit to the Baggot Townhouse as my usual hotel was booked out and I was very impressed with it, good value for money especially and very, very helpful staff. They gave me a very warm welcome.

Paul and Linda was very nice and we enjoyed very much to sit on the veranda in the evenings. It was like staying at some long known friends. We liked it a lot.

The staff at Baggot House was excellent. It's too bad they don't offer breakfast with the price of their room. We were upgraded to a room with small kitchen, because I had booked early. It was helpful to have the small frig since we were able to buy things for breakfast. However, they halved the size of the bath when they added the small kitchen. The bath was very small. Overall, it was a good choice in a very expensive city. The location was great - you could walk everywhere.

Standard was so-so..... Noice from fan in bath Bathroom floor not dellic Loose paint on window frame... The stay was OK - but expected moore at that rate/cost.....
