877-662-6988The Castle Hotel Wales is located in the medieval walled town of Conwy, a place of great charm and superb scenery. It is an ideal 4 star holiday destination accommodation in Wales and just a 75-minute drive from Manchester International Airport.
The Castle Hotel, an old coaching inn, stands on the area of a Cistercian abbey and consists of 2 famous hostelries, The Castle and the 15th century King's Head, making the entire property an interesting and unusual place for business and leisure travelers. In fact, guests will find excellent conference and meeting facilities, free wifi, and also a range of activities such as sailing, horse riding, cycling, walking and golfing. The hotel is also just a few miles from the beach.
One of the main reasons so many guests return to The Castle Hotel is because of the food. Graham, an award winning chef, and Peter and Joe Lavin have prepared a menu which takes inspiration from bygone days but gives the recipes a modern interpretation.

We found our room and the hotel itself to be excellent from all aspects - cleanliness, decor, charm and character. The food served was the highlight for us - it is absolutely superb in our opinion and the service excellent. We stayed for 3 nights and will not hesitate to return.

Arrival with a shock to find the access to the car park severely restrictive from the high street. At least one person damaged their vehicle during accessing. Then at departure there was one car parked across the access so there was at least one hour waiting for the removal of the car to gain exit! Food was exemplary though - no fault here. Elder Staff members were very formal; youngsters were easier but lacked restaurant etiquette. The bedroom was roomy but incredibly noisy at night as the room overlooked the high street and the glazing was 19th century. Triple glazing required!! Bath was small, hot water took sometime to arrive. Coffee was not served warm and had to be sent back or a second pot of hotwater req'd. This was our first stay at this hotel but was not happy with the access in/out or the noise in the room at the evening. We shall not return as guests but may dine. FK IM
