Inn Villa Susanna - Civitavecchia

Our first time we stayed at Villa Susanna in Civitavecchia prior to our cruise on Celebrity Silhoutte. Price paid very moderate. Very convient close to the railway station and to cruise free shuttle;within walking distance if you do not have too much baggage to carry - very important as taxi fares are exhorbitant. We did not have any breakfast but facilities are available with a kitchenette and seating facilities where to eat, either on the inside or at the enclosed terrace. We certainly be staying again. The location is very close to the train station. If you get off the train, walk down to the last set of stairs to exit the train area, you will have an option to go left or right at the bottom of the stairs. Going left takes you to the ocean front and the walk to the port, go right, and you exit less than 5 minutes walk from their location. The directions on their website are exact. The owners (didn't meet Susanna, we met her husband) are great, and Mr. was very quick with all relevant details pertaining to cruise details, even before we knew what to ask :) We would happily stay here again.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here! The owner Luigi is so incredibly helpful and friendly! The room was more spacious than I thought and quite clean as well. We also had free WIFI. Our taxi driver got lost getting there but it is super easy route to get to the port (either walk it with luggage about 25 minutes or pay 20 euros for a taxi). We would definitely recommend this place to our family and friends. PS: they had a fridge to store your own food but they do not provide breakfast

No opinion on Public areas and Type and Number of rooms as we did not have this information. Very good for price but no breakfast at a B&B?

Luigi was very helpful. Nice place if you need to spend a night or two in Civitavecchia.

We stopped by Civitaveccia only for a night on our way to Rome. We got there pretty late, but everything was fine, it's close to the train station, within walking distance. The neighborhood seemed safe. The person from the hotel, I believe is the owner was very nice and useful in giving us complete information. There is a good place to eat nearby. Overall a good experience, would recommend. the rooms were clean. There was no breakfast.

Thank you Susanas B&B. We were met by Luigi who helped with our luggage and got us set up on wifi. He told us about the town and where we could get what we needed. The breakfast was very nice and the eating area was very quaint. I would easily stay here again and I recomend it highly.

Owner's are very nice. Hard time finding it on foot. Map needs to show how to find the tunnel from the train station, not just how to go by car. Easy to train and beach, once you know the way.

Very good bathroom, bedroom bigger than in most budget hotels. Excellent information on web site. Susanne could not have been more helpful.

Fine for 1 night especially if you are going on a cruise. The price was right too.

This place was perfect for what we needed it for and that was basically a place to crash the night before our plane flight home the next morning. For the price, I wasn't expecting anything special. I would say the owners (Luigi and Suzanna) were very friendly and very helpful. But our room was very small and there was hardly anything to eat for breakfast. Not a good way to start our morning and long flight home. But when it come to price and quality I think we got our money's worth. The town of Civitavecchia was beautiful as well. I nice place to spend our last day. I would also like to add that this place is the perfect location for those who are coming back from a cruise and even better if you plan to take the train back...only 5 minutes walk!!

This is a great place to come and stay if you want to depart from here on a cruise. It's close to everything so you can walk everywhere. Luigi is very helpful with directing you where to go and will give you a map to help you get around.

Accomodating owners, centrally located, good shared kitchen area; but also stayed at Casamica the night before and would highly recommend Casamica over Susanna.

This was very convienent and quiet. Luigi and Susanna were wonderful hosts.
