Not a hotel, really - more like a stay with caring friends who help and do their best to make your visit a successful one. From booking bus tickets, through a very nice homely breakfast outdoors, up to valuable explanations on what to do - it was all there. It's a warm people experience rather than walls and fixtures

My hosts were very welcoming and hospitable. I arrived on an early morning flight, and my room was made available to me immediately, a very pleasant surprise and in contrast to my stay at a large branded hotel on a previous visit to Cape Town. No request was too much - from restaurant recommendations & bookings, to early morning breakfast boxes, the room, breakfast and service were all outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend An African Villa to friends, family and business associates looking to visit Cape Town.
