Inn Jade - Budapest

Everything was either same or better than we expected. The owner was nice, English spoken and ready to help. The only thing, which is not so important, that i can complain is that we wanted to stay in the room tiil evening (with or without extra payment) and the owner said that checkout time is strictly in the morning. It was bot big deal but there was plenty of room available so i don`t see what was the problem. All in all, nice, clean, quiet, close to metro, private parking, nice owner...... We will be back :) Thanks.

This was our first stay at Guest House Jade, but it will not be our last. The service was very saticfiing. The personall was very welcoming and nice.

We stayed for six days in the four-bed appartment ("suite"), which proved to be spacious, quiet and acceptably comfortable. For such a long stay I would have preferred more shelves/drawers, a larger refrigerator and more comfortable furnitures (particularly when taking the sofa bed and the plastic chairs into consideration), but all in all we concluded that the accommodation gave good value for money. During our stay, there was no housekeeping, but I don't know if that is the normal standard, as we were informed that the host had to go out of town for most of the period we stayed at the guesthouse. My oldest son was very pleased to find that the guesthouse was equipped with a WiFi included in the room price. The guesthouse is situated 5 - 10 minutes away from the Köbánya-Kispest metro terminus, implying that it was a practical location for a (hot!) summer vacation in Budapest.

The host, Georgi, was very nice and supportive. I couldn't find a laundromat so he (or his wife ) did our laundry for us. If you're looking for just a basic place to sleep this is nice for the price but if you plan on spending a lot of time in your room you'll need to pay more for another place that has better chairs and lighting. It's about a half mile to the train station. I went to Budapest with my son for his dental work but the prices he was charged was far higher than the email quote we were given. Still had a great time in Budapest.

For the given price all the conditions were excellent, there was even wifi in the hotel, which was not expected for this price :)

I letti per adulti erano di dimensioni corrette pero' le lenzuola forniteci erano per bambini e quindi erano corte.

The Apartement was very nice. The price is excellent. To the city you only need about 25 minutes by walk and metro. There is a safty parking place, plates, knifes, spork, spoons and pots are there. Don´t await a coffee machine and a baking oven. Bring your own notebook with you and you can use the wlan for free. I would coose this apartment again!!! Thanks Mr. Martincsevics Gyorgy

Great place to stay: clean and quiet, with essential but comfortable rooms (with TV), very clean common bathrooms. The staff is friendly and helpful (the receptionist lives there). Awesome quality/price ratio. Far from the centre, but with the metro you can get there in 15 minutes. Metro station is less than 5 minutes walking from the hotel. The suburb is not a turistic one (the metro station area is quite dingy), but the immediate surrondings of the hotel are nice, there are gardens and small houses and even a swimming pool with beachvolley pitches! Highly recommended for young people.

Nice small hostel, clean, cheap and quiet. Some 500 mt to metro station. If you travel by car you can use free parking. In the appartment there are some cooking facilities and a fridge. Perfect price for the quality. The owner is helpfull and polite guy. If we go to Budapest again we will use this hostel again with pleasure.

Excellent value for the money. Very convenient for the family with 5 memebers as you can rent 2 rooms with bathroom for very good price. Clean rooms and pleasent service. A bit difficult to find. Avoid the night to arrive as the streets are not marked very well and it seems that most of the people that you stop on the street do not speak English.

Affordable pension a bit far from the centre but easily reachable by metro during the day or by bus during the night. Clean, quiet and friendly. Highly recommended.

Stanza piccola ma carina,forse un pò spartana.i collegamenti sono discreti(c'è la metro kispest a 500 metri).le camere sono silenziose.l'unica cosa negativa è la zona,degradata e triste.l'accoglienza è ottima con personale simpatico e con un buon inglese.forse però allo stesso prezzo era meglio un'appartamento

The hotel looks nice and clean and is excellent in relation to the price and the position: very near to the metro+bus station,15 mins from the centre,even though the area looks rather poor and untidy.Nearby there's also a good shopping centre(food+clothes).Our room was on the street so it was noisy,but we didn't mind too much.They don't take visa, so remember to have cash with you at the moment of payment.

Un très bon rapport qualité-prix pour cette pension agréable. Un peu éloigné du centre ville mais très bien desservi par le métro. Une chouette adresse!

Pension Jade is very well located: about 10 minutes from the metro, in a very quiet quarter, with some little shops nearby.Although it was mentioned on the website, there was no airconditioning

We were respectfully and friendly treated. Questions were well answered problems were immediately solved. The accomodation was very nice for staying overnight. Nice and cheap breakfast was offered - unfortunately it was not written on the website so until we arrived we tried to figure out how and were to get breakfast in the morning.

If you are looking for a place to sleep for a night or two, this is a very price-worthy hotel. Simple, clean, nice people with excellent English. Near the airport and local communication.

Very suitable for people needing to go to Budapest Ferihegy airport, and well connected to the center with the metro. The staff is the best (thanks a lot, Levi)

Super Preis Leistungsverhaeltnis, die Pension Jade liegt keine 5 Min. von der Metro-Endstaion Kizpest entfernt. Zugfahrt zur Innenstadt dauert ca. 20-25 Min. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer seind sauber. Für 2,-- EUR gibt es zum Fruehstueck Broetchen, Kaffee/Tee Rührei oder Wiener Wuerstchen, Butter und Marmalade. Oder man fruehstueckt für kleines Geld an der Metrostation. Auf alle Faelle ist man mit der Pension Jade nicht im typischen Touristengebiet von Budapest und kann so die Stadt noch realistischer erleben. Für die Fahrt vom Flughafen empfiehlt sich die Verwendung von Minibusen (wenn vorhanden Budapest-Card verwenden, ist dann billiger, Karte gibts auch beim Minibus-Schalter am Flughafen), zum Flughafen kann man dann aber den Linienbus nehmen, welcher auch von der Metrostation abfährt (Linie 200). Wer also auf 4-Sterne keinen so grossen Wert legt und das eigentliche Stadtleben erkunden will, ist bei der Penision Jade genau richtig.

In general, we were very satisfied with our stay, but however allow us to make the following remarks in a constructive spirit. Bathroom: a board is to be installed to deposit the personal objects and the support of the shower is to be fixed correctly so that water does not flood the bathroom. Sleeproom: Mattresses too ancient, one feels the wood boards with the back. A bedside lamp should be installed, because the switch is moved away and is towards the door of entry. The bedside tables out of fabrics are dirty and should be replaced by tables out of wooden (more hygienic).

Good connection to the public transport system (metro). Good price/quality.

The price paid for this pension far outweigh it's faults. Once we were able to find it on the maps provided, we had no problems getting around by use of the subway system. It has a beautiful, peaceful small courtyard. We had a wonderful stay. My only suggestion would be to provide the rooms with fans for those occassional hot evenings.

We would choose Jade every time in the future for staying in Budapest. A good facility with excellent personell.

For what we expected we were not at all disappointed. Friendly, personal, easy to reach by metro.
