Inn Albergo Orologio - Brescia

Thr potential for a lovely hotel is there - charming old building with outdoor courtyards, exposed beams, etc. in the historic center of Brescia. The desk staff was as helpful as could be, but other staff just didn't seem to care. We saw the breakfast person smoking on the terrace while guests were in the dining room. But the big problem was cleanliness. The shower had mildew from top (literally-the ceiling was black in one corner) to bottom. Our challenge was to avoid touching anything but the floor. And the floor was dirty as well. The grout in the bathroom was black, except where the shower had leaked and you could see that it was meant to be white. The floor of the bedroom was not much better and under the bed - best not to look. A personal pet peeve was the lack of a mattress pad; just a sheet over the bare mattress. Amenities were provided, even a robe which was especially nice, but there was minimal space to put anything, including used towels, in the bath. A little attention to detail and some serious cleaning and this would be a special place, but as it is, we won't be returning.

Charming small hotel in the centre of the old part of Brescia. I had a single room as it was just for one night and whilst not large was a good size for a single, and nicely decorated with a good shower. There was a fluffy bathrobe, unusual for a 3star hotel. Good breakfast and internet included. Excellent value for money and a good place to stay in Brescia. Some noise from a clock striking (hence the name!). Friendly staff and a follow-up thank you email made me feel very welcome.

Hotel Meublé Orologio is a very comfortable accommodation in a very kind place.

Location was great, the sraff were great and the rooms were clean, the down side was that it is in a very noisy location,the air conditioner did not work,and there was no Bar fridge to keep the drinks cold, and one other thing the shower was very small and the shower floor was very slipery, i nearly fell twice.

This was my first time in Brescia. I liked the hotel very much and would recommend it to anyone. It's location is perfect, in the middle of the old city but also in the walking distance to the railway station. It is a very cosy home-feeling family hotel.

I loved this hotel. The staff are marvelous, very friendly and eager to help. Excellent English language skills, though when I tried my less than excellent Italian, they responded in Italian and were very patient. All in all a wonderful experience.

If you must go to Brescia (a city I don't recommend visiting), then this is a nice place to stay. The staff was so wonderful and friendly. I can't say enough nice things about them. The hotel is located in the city center in an attractive part of town. The price was a bit high for the room I thought, but it was still a very nice place to stay. The bathrooms are very small.

Lovely small hotel in Brescia. Amazing staff--helpful and extremely responsive. Great breakfast. Very clean, convenient to everything. Some of the rooms facing the street can be noisy on Friday and Saturday nights, but otherwise a great place to stay and the price extremely favorable. Our first stay at Hotel Meuble Orologio and we were ther for 4 days.

Nice place in the center of old town brescia. Very near to several good places to eat and the Duomo. 20 minute walk to the train station and the taxi was about 9 euros.
