Inn 6 di Casa Marconi - Bologna

Lovely new B&B. There was no one to greet us (although a note was left with the porter downstairs). The only suggestion I'd make is putting carpet or rugs down the central hallway as it was quite noisy, as was the water system. Traffic noise on the other hand was minimal. Great shower, lovely breakfast, fab location. Definitely recommend it (but take your ear plugs if you're a light sleeper).

The internet connection didn't work, there was no-one on reception from the afternoon when we wanted to ask about this and other things (like the shower), and no contact number for management. The service does not justify the high price.

This is a wonderful, quiet, clean, comfortable place to stay. My only complaint is that the free internet service offered is only doled out for 2 hours at a time, and this was not nearly enough for the business we had to conduct at odd hours. The explanation of internet services should be more clear. Otherwise, it fully lived up to our expectations.

Excellent B&B!

I suppose it is really great place for accomodation in Bologna, near to railway station( only 6-7 min on foot), there are a lot of nice restaurantes near to the hotel and olny 5-7 min on foot to the center. I would like come back to Bologna( very nice place in Italy, there you you can try unforgettable local cuisine ) and stay exactly in this hotel!

Excellent, clean and modern rooms with a nice kitchen area. Breakfast was very good. For its price Casa Marconi was very much above our expectations

This was a great find, a lovely little B&B in the centre of the City. Clean, comfortable, bright and airy. Nice breakfast. I would return to this B&B.

Really good B&B, boutique feel to the rooms, really well appointed. Breakfast very good by Italian standards and the hotel was really well located for walking into the city centre (Piazza Maggiore less than 10 mins away on foot). Plenty of shops around as well as bars and restaurants and a supermarket directly across the street. If you're coming from the airport, just get an aerobus to the station, the taxi took the most indirect route possible and charged €30 whereas the station is a 10 min walk on foot (if you have two heavy suitcases) and easily reachable. Thoroughly recommended.

This B&B was clean, great breakfast, great host and close to everything in Bologna.

For my brother and me, E60 for the room we got (AC, great modern everything, balcony, excellent breakfast, safe, close location to Bologna Centrale, bus station, and historic center (Piazza Maggiore etc), 6 di Casa is EXCELLENT. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Good location to train station and sights, easy to locate. In mixed commercial/residential building; ask doorman to direct you to 6 di Casa. Very chic decor, spacious, comfortable, great amenities. Large, modern bathroom. Quiet. Very nice breakfast with hot coffee/tea, cereals, yogurts, ham, sweet rolls, breads, jams, fresh fruit. Highly recommend!

Excellent place, friendly and helpful hosts. Be sure to follow their advice on places to eat out. You will get great price/quality ratio and aviod typical tourist traps.

Really an excellent place to stay! We had a great room, facing an internal patio. We were told some other rooms can be noisier as they face the main Street Via Marconi, better to check before going! Great service!

Excellent room, beautiful design,conveniently located halfway beteen Railwaystation & superb Bologne City centre (San Petronio, Leaning Towers, etc...) Di sicuro lo raccomenderò ad amici nelle loro visite a Bologna e me stesso ritornerò.
