The apartment is well located and public areas in the apartment are quite nice. Rooms are quite small and our room order (double bed with private bathroom) was pretty intresting. Bathroom is built on what used to be a balcony and there was double doors with windows between bedroom and bathroom. And of course, the only window was in ex-balcony and from two meters to the window, there was a concrete wall. And one more thing, there was no mattress pad in the bed so the springs felt unconfortable. All in all, the apartment is ok, just don't expect nothing too fancy.

We stayed in a "Double Suite with Private Bathroom". This is not a suite at all, but a small bedroom with a bathroom. The bedroom has been separated off from the common breakfast area by drywall. The balcony before the room has been converted into a somewhat ramshackle bathroom -- this is the "private bathroom". The bedroom has no windows except from the former balcony door that now opens into the "bathroom", which itself has a row of large windows to the outside. The walls are thin (at least the walls of our room), so you can hear everything that goes on in the apartment. There seem to be six more double bedrooms to the whole apartment. The kitchen seems ok except that the toaster doesn't work and there's no coffeemaker of any kind. (You can get coffee to take away from Bar Teruel downstairs.) The building is a beautiful structure, and the apartment has very nice old tilings, mostly original doors and stucco on the ceiling. Nonetheless, the price we paid (85 € / night) was a bit hefty for a smallish, rickety-rackety room in a shared apartment. Organization is a bit chaotic too. An angry cleaning lady tried to throw us out of our room one morning and we had to explain in shaky spanish that we're only leaving three days later. They've put up signs everywhere asking guests to keep quiet after 9 pm, but this doesn't keep the management people themselves from welcoming new guests at 11 pm and sitting down with them in the breakfast area for a long and loud conversation about the sights of Barcelona. Overall, an ok accommodation, but a bit overpriced. I'd try somewhere else next time.

I stole in the room of the apartment

What a find! Even though this is a shared apartment, we didn't see anyone for more than 30 seconds. We had the great kitchen to ourselves, and never had to wait to use the bathrooms. The neighborhood is great. The wifi is a bit iffy, I had to call a few times to have them reset it, but they were happy to do it and usually did it within 15 minutes, but you have to call. I would definitely stay here again

We stayed in the suite with included bathroom. The Appartment is really excellently located so that it's possible to do nearly everything by foot. There are nice restaurants not far away (everybody shout dry Tapa Tapa!!!) and also some shops and a supermarket.

PROs: good position, metro (Girona) at 3 mins walking, safe surrondings, common spaces clean and wide enough, kind welcoming, fully-equipped kitchen. CONs: really terrible noise during all the night due to the street exposure of almost all the rooms - very very diffucult to sleep: that's the issue of this accomodation. Rooms clean at the first day but never cleaned/made up during the whole stay and towels never changed (maybe it was specified in the reservation conditions but then we misunderstood).

Best value in Barcelona. Great location to see all sights - everything was within reasonable walkng distance, including the airport shuttle. The property manager greeted us with information to get us started. Common areas were impeccably clean. My first choice for future visits to Barcelona.
