The agriturismo completely built in stone, was probably founded on the ruins of a medieval holy building.

The recent renovation, which made use of original building materials such a stone, fired brick, and wood, is a careful restructuring which culminated in the rebirth of the beautiful original structure.

My wife, Terri, and I stayed in Le Balze for a week in the last week of May 2011. The hospitality, food, service, accomodations and general environment was outstanding. The property is stunning and beautiful. The attitude, attentiveness, helpfulness, good cheer, accessibility and competence of Nello, Giovanna, family and employees was simply extraordinary. At all times, we felt welcomed and all of our needs satisfied. We truly were sorry to leave and will most certainly return.

We enjoyed our vacation at Ca'Lucano so much and this was surely not only because of the beautiful location and environment, but also because of Nello and his family who are such nice people and always give you the feeling to be heartily welcome. Suzi cooks real Tuscany menues, the meals are very delicious and the prices - for wine also - are absolutely fair. So we really felt to be in good hands and will surely come back!

Bathroom with shower, independent heating, antique furniture and satellite TV. Bed space for two: one brass frame king size bed. The entire apartment has been restored to reflect the original style of antique Tuscan houses, complete with wooden beams and clay floor tiling.

I tell you the fast way to come here:
Motorway A1 exit Arezzo. Go in direction Arezzo and at the traffic lights, after 8 km, take direction for Sansepolcro.
After one more three traffic lights take the direction Sansepolcro- Palazzo del Pero.
Arrived to Palazzo del Pero (20 km from the motorway exit) go across the village and go in direction Santa Maria della Rassinata. after 1 km you can see the sign that point the end of Palazzo del Pero.
Take the first asfalthed way at left. Go for 2 km, arrive to a house group and take the first not-asflthed way at rigt. Go for other 800 metri and you arrive at Ca'Lucano.
