The owner off the hotel was very helpfull about everything.Allso the staff were very helpfull and pleasant people.Its a quit serounding. 15 min.walking from the centre of Anacapri.The vieuw from the roof terras was very beautyfull, you can overlooking the bay of Naples. Breakfast we have containes several things, like fruit, yoghurt, bread, pastry ect,ect

This is a beautiful villa and a garden overlooking the bay of Napoli, in a very quiet part of Anacapri. The owner and manager is the most hospitable man, always there for you, happy to give you a ride, to recommend places to go and local restaurants. Room was clean and fairly large. Fruit from the garden (figs, parsimmons, etc)are on you breakfast table daily, fresh from the tree. Lovely place to relax and enjoy the views, but be prepared to walk the narrow streets, 8 minutes to center of Anacapri up the hill. Off-season October price was very modest.

This was our second stay at Il Giardina Dell'Arte and we will most definitely be returning. Franco and his family are so warm and welcoming, willing to bend over backwards to ensure your stay is memorable and relaxing. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are large and come equipped with typical European furnishings (toilet & biday). Hairdryers are installed on the walls so you can leave yours at home. The gardens at Franco's are fabulous, you are surrounded by color throughout your stay with him. You are also within walking distance of the center of Anacapri and its delightful shops, as well as the famous Grotta Azurra (Blue Grotto) though the bus can get you there much more quickly. All in all another fabulous experience, my wife and I HIGHLY recommend Il Giardinno dell'Arte to all of our friends looking for good tips on where to go when traveling to Europe.

The property is in a beautiful setting and the gardens are lovely. I am a gardener and appreciate all the vegetation. Franco is a delightfully helpful and gracious host, a great resource for everything regarding Capri. He really provided a very high level of service, and it was hard going to other accommodations on the rest of our trip and not having the level of service that Franco provided. It was a really great experience.

Franco, the owner of the guest house, is charming and hospitable. His guest house is surrounded by gardens with a breath taking view of sunsets over the Mediterranean.

Franco was a great host. The grounds of Il Giardino are beautiful and the rooms are very nice as well. Air conditioning worked great, and we had a very good breakfast served on our terrace. Franco had lots of suggestions for us and did everything he could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We would recommend enthusiastically to anyone and if/when we go back to Capri, we will be staying at Il Giardino again without question. Thanks, Franco!

It's even more beautiful than on the pictures. The garden is just incredible and the rooms are spacious, very clean and furnished with much love to details. Excellent service (transport from and to harbour, suggestions where to go...), you can really feel that it's run by somebody who loves what he's doing. We enjoyed it very much.

Le camere sono spaziose e molto curate. La prima colazione viene servita nel terrazzino privato con una meravigliosa vista sul mare. Il proprietario e tutto lo staff sono disponibilissimi e ci hanno dato ottimi consigli su ristoranti e luoghi da visitare.

Franco, whose family has been on Capri for generations, retired after 42 years with one of the most prestigious hotels on Capri. His "retirement hobby" was to build a top end bed and breakfast. I say hobby, because Franco is clearly a man with an enormous amount of energy as demonstrated by his well-run B&B and his beautiful flower and fruit gardens. This was the best stay in our 12-day trip to southern Italy. Frank is a gracious and knowledgeable host who made arrangements for us on the island for restaurants, boat tours etc. We highly recommend Il Giardino del Arte without reservation. This is actually more of a luxury boutique hotel than a b&b in many ways.
