The hotel was really clean and the staff welcomed us really nicely. It is located in a perfect position (Nieuwmarkt), literally 5mins walking from the centre. The price it's pretty fair. Top choice if you are a couple.

The hotel has a very good central position. The receptionist has always been very kind and helpfull. But the cleanliness of our room was too bad, with a dusty fitted carpet. Not even once we found the soap in 5 nights of staying. And I don't know why after the first two nights they made the bed without the blanket and once we found the bedspread in a corner on the floor.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The last night we discovered a mouse in the room, I spend 4 hours hunting it to get it out of the room. I met no understanding at all in the reception, not during the night and not the day after. I was actually accused to have caused this myself, the receptionist claimed that we had food in the room. Complete noncence of course....Stay away from this hotel!!!1

This hotel is a very big disappointment. A beautiful location but the hotel is in such an advanced state of disrepair and neglect that I am surprised health and safety officials permit it to remain open. Sheets and towels were threadbare, curtains torn, tiles loose in the bathroom and the sanitary ware is stained and damaged. The staff were very unprofessional and did not indicate that there was a charge for breakfast. We were then charged an outrageous Euro 7,50 for a disgusting breakfast. Stay well away from Rembrandtplein Hotel!!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel Rembrandplein at the beginnig of July. Everything was good. Rembrandplein is rather good 3* hotel. Our complaints are: room size, cleanliness of the room (the furniture and wallpapers were rather old, and need repair) and the bathroom which wasn't bathroom but shower-room with the whole in the floor without any cabin, this was not very comfortable. But in general we are very satisfied with the relationship between price/quality of this hotel. The staff was polite, good english speaking and helpful. The location of the hotel is ideal for those who want to see the historic center of Amsterdam. It is located on the canal, some rooms are faced to it, our room was facing the court yard, it was very calm and cosy. I recomend this hotel for young leisure travellers, who want to save their money and stay in the center of the city.

Overpriced breakfast. Good location. No lift, so if you stay on a high floor, good luck!

The hotel is both quiet and well located. If you want canal view, you've got to book a quad room, otherwise the double rooms don't have canal view. The hotel is quite old, the cleanliness is not at the top. The price/quality relationship is okay, but if you want a romantic and cosy stay in amsterdam, find something more expensive.. This one is not too classy
