lovely place to rest and admire yhe beautiful view over the bay. so many stairs to climb to get to.

Fabulous stay! We got the roof top apartment, which is extremely nice.

Loveley hotel, friendly and warm staff... the hotel is situated on a street of 1000 steps..... it is 300 steps down from porgerola or 700 steps up from main road in Amalfi. The location is beautiful and well worth the effort of the steps... the room was clean and bright, the breakfast was good and the view wonderful.

We had one of our most beautfiul vacations here, in an absolutely amazing scenery and with excellent hosts like Antoaneta, Sonia and Salvatore. They were always smiling, ready to help and make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We felt there like being part of the family, were even invited to a family party. An unforgettable memory indeed. The rooms have splendid sea view and the house is situated up on the hill, in a lovely neighborhood (of course you can only reach it by climbing /descending the stairs, exhausting indeed, but being worth all the effort). The terrace upstairs is also delightful, with the view of the sea and all Amalfi. We definitely recomend the house to whoever is not affraid of making some physical effort (to climb /descend the many-many stairs) in order to get back an extraordinary stay.

We had a lovely stay at Le Palme, it's quiet, calm and welcoming and the staff really goes out of their way to help. And now for the famous steps... well we were warned and it wasn't a problem for us, though as we arrived late at night it would have been good to have some signs along the path just to reassure us that we were actually on the right set of steps! Amalfi itself is fairly ordinary, but the walks around there are spectacular, especially the Sentiero degli dei from Agerola to Positano.

This hotel sits on a steep cliffside 300 steps below the nearest road and approx 780 steps up from the town of Amalfi itself. If you have problems with 300 steps, this isn't the place for you. Buses run from the top of the stairs into Amalfi. If you're not afraid of steps, then it's fine; esp. for the price. But also be forewardned, there's nothing else at hand. Restaurants and everything else are a bus ride or long climb to and from, See Amalfi once, the town is nothing but a crowded and overpriced tourist trap. If you're going, find the Excelsior Hotel, on the road high above Amalfi, the stairs leading down to Le Palme are directly adjacent to it. Also, there's no sign identifying the Le Palme when you get there.

This place is just amazing, and jump over the 300 stairs is a huge exercise but which reward!!! If one thing to say to improve the stay: change mattress of the bed and also the shower which is a bit too old... but there are just details because was absolutly not disturbing too much, not at all! Tks a lot for this stay! it could be a bit far from the city city centre (arounf 700 stairs) but as the place, surrounds and view are incredible, you're so happy to leave overthere!

I LOVED staying at Le Palme. Although the survey captures the basics of what a person wants to know about accommodations, it can't do justice to the intangibles that make a stay memorable. Staying in a beautiful, very private environment, with a magnificent view of the Amalfi harbor and coast was an experience that my daughter and I will treasure for a lifetime. Not to mention the WONDERFUL people, Antoinette, Sonia, Salvatore and their children made us feel like family and literally took care of our every needs, from after hours dinners to tips on getting around. I highly recommend staying here.

Posto davvero molto bello!! Ho fatto purtroppo pochi giorni ma ne è valsa la pena, come è valsa la pena di aver fatto 300 scale per raggiungerlo!! I proprietari ti fanno sentire come a casa tua e se non fosse per gli impegni ci ritornerei subito!!!!
