Inn Demetra Resort - Agrigento

We enjoyed our stay in this converted palm tree farm. It was an oasis of green in an otherwise dusty and dry area. If not using sat-nav, use a map program before you go to zero in on the location. We didn't have a GPS, we used a map book, and the book didn't have enough detail to get us there without google maps. I wouldn't have paid the listed price, but the price we paid made this an excellent value. It was away from the hectic noise of the city center which made it relaxing. Breakfast was typical, but not extraordinary. The grounds were beautiful and on our last night we enjoyed a lovely limoncello on the veranda of our room.

The employees could not have been nicer and more helpful. The dinners were outstanding. You usually cannot go wrong when you stay in a family owned hotel. Close to the temples but still in a quiet country setting. The dining areas were lovely. We would definitely stay there again.

l'albergo non presenta nessun servizio oltre la camera: non ha una palestra, una piscina, una sala tv. E localizato lontano da una città e dal mare e non offre divertimenti nel suo interno. La collazione ha lasciato molto a desiderare. Non corrisponde a un 4 stelle superior.

Wonderful resort--very accommodating staff. We enjoyed ourselves and relaxed.

This was our first trip to Agrigento. Hotel Demetra was a very pleasant place to stay. Our room was on the ground floor and had a door onto the patio. The only drawback was that there was no screen on the door and the staff was not able to fix the problem in the 2 nights we stayed there. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner was very good.

Recommend it to anybody. The only thing they need to improve is their signposting, but I have partly myself to blame for not downloading their how-to-find-us instructions.
