Hotel ibis Milano Centro - Milan

The staff was friendly bur always too busy and without time to help you with the attention needed. But the worst thing for us was that We had to sleep with the windows opened, and a lot of city noise was in during the night. terrible! I asked for the air conditioner and they simply said it was off. and never turned that thing on. Bad nights..

The hotel says it has air conditioning. It does but it is either heat or Air Conditioning and they still had it on heat. (seems the calendar decides when it is warm not the temperature) The room was very warm, had to leave windows open = noisy. Manager tried to find an alternate room but we waited for about 30 minutes then went to dinner. when we returned we called the desk but they had no information and in the morning the manager said he left a note to move us. Not good communications.

Hotel average. My daughter and I stayed in twin room, small room, very small beds comfortable but beds almost touching. Decor basic, no added facility apart from TV. Very noisy room with trams running constantly, hardly slept. Worst experience is my daughter's bag was stolen in bar area next to my feet. The week before same thing happened to someone else in same location. We were very upset and manager not very supportive. Had to go to police and had no euros for taxi but no support available. Upon enquiry I found out that theft is very frequent. Would have appreciated if clients were made aware. Awful...

Wi-fi in rooms works ok but you need to ask for a 12-hour password each time at front desk. Neighborhood has many bars for aperitivo. Hotel is 5' walk from Porta Venezia main metro station and Corso Buenos Aires shopping area. Central train station and Porta Garibaldi one (where Italo high speed train arrive) are at approx. 5€ taxi ride.

It's gd quality quaranteed with this hotel. You know in Europe most hotels were not as gd as shown in website. The quality was very serious deviation in most hotels. This one you have no worry abt it! One comment is it's far from Central Station on foot. Need 20 mins walk.
