Warm welcome from front desk. First room offered looked out onto a side road and felt very spartan. We asked for a different room and were offered one overlooking the square at the front of the hotel. Much better! Light and bright and felt 'French'. Parked car at nearby underground carpark. Cheap overnight rate and front desk said it was safe. Room basic but adequate. Comfortable bed. Clean. Quiet nights sleep. Ate dinner at the next door restaurant - just okay. Overall a more than adequate stay and fairly priced. Recommended.
