Great hotel; large rooms, well-equipped kitchen, comfy king bed (needs more pillows!), good desk; teenage son slept on sofabed & pronounced it 'okay'. Marketplace across street-all types food & good prices; eat there or take out; good bookstore. Walk to Bay St Mall a little iffy at night, but has good shops & great restaurants. BART from airport quick & easy, free Emerygoround bus to hotel; but closest BART is McArthur Street (scary at night)! Friendly, efficient staff, good security; really good fitness room! Hotel restaurant NOT OPEN on wkends. No train noise with windows closed, noisy street/train with windows open. If you get late checkout, be aware your keycard WILL NOT WORK after 1200! Bath access in bedroom, so not complete privacy from living area, but lovely closing dbl doors betw 2 rooms. Small balcony. Good linens, very clean room, well-maintained hotel. Free computers in lobby! Will return if good price, for kitchen, fitness room, & staff.
