Hotel nice enough, surroundings fabulous, a few gripes about the staff: while booking it was specified on venere site that credit card details would not be used for immediate payment, while fee was charged 15 minutes later. when we arrived at hotel, clerk said there were no bookings in my name, as they had mixed up surname and second name. on checking out, my colleague, who went down to reception only to pay for a phone call, was asked to pay for his room, which I had also paid for two weeks before. Refund was given when I arrived and protested. one of the people at reception does not think it worth his while replying to civil greetings such as "Ollà"

Location is perfect, right above a metro station - even if we didn't use it, because the old town is very very near - and only a 7min walk from train station. Lots of bars/restaurants nearby and an El Corte Ingles store on the other side of the street. Room was very spacious, although we missed a double bed. Bathroom was very big and also clean.

Easy acces from the airport with the metro : it stops just opposite the hotel (Metro Colon). The ancient city centre starts just around the corner.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Husa Llar. I received clean bed linen and clean towels everyday and my room was tided up every day. The only downside to the stay was that I could hear everything from the room next door and it seemed to me that there was not much between the walls but other than that I would stay there again

The walls are paper thin - literally. The 2 guests in the room adjacent decided to partake in some early morning activities. It was like we were in the same room and I am not exaggerating. The hallway was tiled too - so late night arrivals echoed as well as the clacking of high heal shoes. The location is good, but I wouldn't stay here again for the simple fact that if you can hear others, they can hear you!

Hotel molto centrale, pulito e comodo. Alcuni del personale non sono stati molto accoglienti... inoltre da stanza a stanza si sente praticamente tutto! La stanza è molto ben tenuta, pulita ogni giorno, grande e con bel bagno.

I would recommend this hotel to other travellers interested in visiting Valencia. The Hotel is very closed to the metro stop so that it is very easy to get there from the airport. Rooms are wide and well cleaned and personnell is very friendly. The hotel is also quite closed to the city center. It is really a comfortable and nice place to stay.

This hotel is 5 min walking to the old central part of Valencia. It is ideal for tourists arriving by car or motorbike who can leave it in the hotel parking and go visiting by walk.Around the hotel there is traffic jam but our room was totally silent.

This hotel is a good 10 minute walk from the train station. The location is not bad. It's across from the Corte Ingles and is 5 minutes walking from a variety of neighborhood restaurants. I would stay here again. The public space is lacking, however, I don't typically hang out in the hotel lobby.

Rooms on the back side of the building are suggested, since they are very quiet (although not a great view from the window... but huge traffic on the main road!) Excellent location (very close to shopping area and city centre) Contintental breakfast (about 7 €, not included in the room rate) is good (worth the price). Quality/price overall ratio very good

Good position, near the old town and about 400 metres from the rail station. Room small, breakfast ordinary but room very noisy (I could hear the snoring in the next room). Had a front room facing the Calle Colon and traffic noise was high.

It is a good location for central Valencia. You can walk to the old town within 10 mins. Great if you love shopping as it is next to a Zara, Mango and Cortes Ingles! It's a 10 mins walk from the buses that go to the beaches. It's ideal if you want a city break, maybe not if you're looking for a beach holiday. Good sized rooms; very clean!

Very enjoyable stay, Hotel situated perfect for waking around places of interest and also shopping. very clean and comfortable rooms, breakfast very basic nothing hot other than scrambled egg and sausages (not english). Ask for a room situated away from the lift/stairs as people let the doors slam shut and it gets very annoying throughout the night. Also beach is more than 10 mins away, it took twenty in a taxi on a sat afternoon with no traffic.

There was only one english speaking person at the reception, but he was very nice and helpful. We could leave our luggage the whole day in the hotel, our flight left late in the evening. Only bad thing if you travel in winter: there is no heating and the rooms were so cold, the bathroom was very cold. Take care and dress warm for the night!!!

The Hotel is in a brilliant location, right on the edge of the old quarter on a busy shopping street. We thought it might be noisy for that reason, but we were not disturbed at all. We found the hotel to be excellent value and would definitely recommend it.

Good location at the main shopping road (Colon, big supermarket directly in front of the hotel) and close to the historic centre. My room (#205) was very quiet and clean, with window to a small backyard, so there was very few daylight. TV programs were almost only Spanish. Pay TV for movies in English.

Hotel is situated close to the center of town. The old part of town is within walking distance. We stayed there with a group of nine and had a wonderful time in Valencia. The Hotel was part of the very good experience of the three days we spent. We can recommend the place espicially when you get there by plane and do not have to care about leaving your car somewhere close.

Very good hotel in its class. What I especially appreciated was the fact that when we arrived, a special offer was going on and the room rate was lowered accordingly without me having to ask for it.

The first night we were put in a smoking room at the front. The room was tiny and smelt really bad of smoke. This room was on the main road and therefore too noisy to leave the window open. Due to the sleepness night I asked for a discount and I was told the manger would be asked. I don't think this ever happened and when I checkout out the same guy just said no. Next night we were move into a non-smoking room in the middle of the building. It was a much bigger room and not smokey at all. The staff were genuinely helpful in most instances.

1. I was a bit disappointed to see that the water supply in the toilet flush stopped after 11am. 2. I was very happy that the hotel offered me a left luggage facility after I had checked out. 3. I had expected that breakfast was included in the price that I paid for the room but was dissapointed to find out otherwise.

This hotel is located in a high-traffic central thoroughfare and does not have its own car parking facilities. Therefore, guests arriving by car must leave it in a very expensive public underground parking without direct access to the hotel. Worst yet, there is no loading/unloading space in front of the hotel, and if you try to stop there traffic police will force you to leave immediately. Therefore, guests must carry their bags and personal items all the way to and from the parking, which is located 150m away. In addition, the price of such parking is 15€+VAT per day, which corresponds to 25% of the daily room price!! These circumstances should be clearly reported in the information pages of Venere.com, because they may obviously influence the user's choices. Would not recommend this hotel for those who travel by car; otherwise it may be considered a fair choice for the price.
