This hotel had a nice breakfast area and the breakfast was decent. The rooms were small and bathrooms extremely small. The staff was inconsistant with a woman named Amporah being excellent and most others very average and unfriendly. They did their best to let us choose a room, but in truth none of the rooms were really comfortable. Some smelled like smoke, all bathrooms too are small and when it rained we had a flood from the patio. I would neveer book here again.

They were jack hammering the street all day and the bar across the street was loud all night

Some employees could be more friendly. The rooms are a bit expensive for the standard they have ( not refurbished at all). The breakfast is poor. Good location.

We were there at the "Mercé" festival which we did not know in advance. Therefore the price was higher than usual. Normally I would think the the relationship between price/quality is OK. Had ordered a double room, but got a twin room ..

malgré mon appel pour prévenir de mon arrivée tardive nous nous sommes retrouvés face à un hotel complet suite à un problème interne. A 2h30 du matin nous avons été envoyé dans un autre hotel loin du centre ville !!! A part cet incident, le quartier n'a aucun intérêt (de loin le côté le moins agréable de la ville...)

Great budget accommodation with simply furnished but clean rooms. Excellent breakfast for the money! Only snag is that being SO centrally located in LIVELY Barcelona, can be a tad noisy at night (so drink an extra "night cap"!!). Helpful staff.

It is a Spanish hotel, not a international chain. Check-in was slow, but that could be time of day (just before noon). Courteous staff.

A lovely room - very quiet and comfortable. The hotel is actually much more conveniently located than I gathered from its ads. It is a short walk from the Ramble and also a short walk from the metro/subway stop at the university plaza. Although not "close" it was a very pleasant walk to the Gaudi cathedral through a beautiful part of the city.
