I booked and paid for a Family room which was supposed to have 1 double and 2 single beds but they placed me in a Triple room which had 3 single beds and still charged me at the higher Family room rate. Entire exterior was covered in scaffolding which really took away from the experience. If you just want a bed to sleep in this will work just be sure they give you what you paid for or refund the difference.

Fantastically central for being a tourist in Barcelona, which of course means noisy.right above La Ramblas so very convenient and great fun but you do feel as if the party is in your room...! if you are prepared to give in to theis and join in, it is a great spot.

We revisited the hotel because of its excellent place right on the Rambla. You are "there in the middle of everything" when you exit the hotel.

The best location you can get in Barcelona!! Excellent hotel, staff and rooms. The only complain is that the breakfast is quite expensive, but you can go out to the ramblas and get some food for less money.

Ideal location in the heart of Barcelona view over the Ramblas and near the gothic barrio and the "plaza real" and not far from the port! Nice welcoming from the reception desk. Just one point : no possibility of one double bed only twin beds very bad for couple...

Our standing at Husa oriente was excellent: -rooms were clean, had good forniture, bathroom was clean too; -position was excellent: we were in the heart of "Ramblas"; near to "maremagnum" shopping center, cataluna square (where leave the buses for the discos outside the city, "boqueria market" (where you can buy any kind of fruit); -just in front the hotel there were the metro station and the bus stop (with the n.59 you can reach the barceloneta and the beach within 10 minutes! and during the night there is the n.8 that lead you to the "port olimpic" where there are disco.pubs). Only a critique: the rooms on the rambla side are noisy: but if you are tired (as we were after 9 hours of walknig everyday!) is not a problem! Enjoy your standing at husa hotel!

Upon arrival , I was surprised to open the door of my room and find out there were other guests still there . The maid who was working on that floor was very nice and helpfull , apologizing and getting me another room .I was a little worried about safety after that though . Anyway , I would consider staying at Husa Oriente on my next trip because of the location , but would check about other hotels on the same area first .

If you want to be in the centre or Barcelona, then this is the place. Loads on your doorstep and the metro a minute or so walk away. Peaceful sleep not guarnteed on a Fri/Sat night but hey, stupid, you are on the main thoroughfare. Ask for a rear of hotel room if that would be a problem for you. I slept well in anycase.

The hotel was lovely, spotless, in an amazing central location and the staff very helpful but unfortunately I think they forgot to put in proper partition walls between rooms when they recently renovated the hotel. The suspended ceilings were probably not a great idea either as I could clearly hear every word spoken in the rooms on either side of mine. I had read the noise comments from others beforehand but as I am a heavy sleeper, I thought it wouldn't affect me, boy was I wrong! The street partying noise continued until six each morning and my room was on the fourth floor and not even on the main street. Shame the noise was so bad because I don't think I could find fault otherwise!

The location of the hotel is really good. You can reach almost all attraction in a few minutes walk. The metro station is two minutes away. The drawback of this location is the noise of The Rambla. Our room windows was on a side street but despite of this it was really loud. That is not the fault of the hotel but you have to take this into account. Use ear-plugs when you are sleeping and everything is o.k. The hotel and the room was clean, the bath room was spacious and the service was correct. Although I would take next time a hotel which is located in a quieter area I can recommend the Oriente for everyone who visits Barcelona for the first time.

All twelve people in our party agreed that not only would they visit Barcelona again but they would happily stay at this hotel. As indicated in the reviews, the rooms on the front were noisy, but if you've come to Barcelona to sleep you're in the wrong city. The location was excellent for us as we were on a weekend break. Staff were efficient, courteous and friendly

Hotel's location is perfect, right on Las Ramblas. Building work was taking place nearby and though no fault of the hotel was unbearable. Facilities in hotel limited, no breakfast or bar though theres are loads available on the doorstep. Hotel looks newly renovated and rooms are very modern and clean.

Quite a nice hotel, though breakfast is not included, in the price quoted, and is quite expensive. Better to go to one of the small cafes, nearby. No English channels on the television. But, a great location, spotless room and friendly staff, make this an ideal, if a bit pricy, hotel.

The hotel is in the centre of Barcelona, which is great, but Barcelona is noisy day and night, so you must consider loud nights, which is not the hotel´s fault. The breakfast (which is not included) is too expensive. We preferred to have it outside the hotel

Great personnel at the desk. Very helpful and friendly. Noisy if you have a room giving on the side street. You are likely to be woken upearly because some of the patio doors do not seal well. Good clean hotel otherwise. Our bathroom was recently renovated and very nice.

Window of room was 1 m off two or more AC exhausts (one from kitchen), which were *VERY* noisy. However, they were turned off from 12:00am to 10:00am approx. so nights sleep was possible. During the day it was really very loud and partly smelly. Other rooms won't have this problem. Changing room was not possible since the property was fully booked.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast, but lack of bar facitities. We stayed 6 nights, 1st 2 in twin room, although booked double, could hear everything going on in 2 ajoining bathrooms. Asked if double was available for rest of stay and were given larger double room. Unfortunatly this was next to the lifts and the room actually vibrated when they were in operation. Location was very good.

Superbly located hotel, right on the Ramblas. However, choosing a room facing the street meant that it was quite noisy throughout the night even with the windows closed. I recommend an interior facing room if you get the choice. Drinks making facilities in the room would have been a welcome addition. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous at all times, contributing to a very pleasant stay. ¡Muchas Gracias!

Very spacious room, recently renovated, much better than expected. Reception staff appears to be overworked, building activity in the hotel was only a small nuisance. Breakfast ok, cleaning staff very helpful and friendly. Location is hard to beat - and the price was even 30% lower than the quoted rate on venere. Overall: Great room, service level could be much improved, good value for money.
