Hotel Husa Arenas - Barcelona

Poor satisfaction is centered in the hotel cassified as four star. Rooms facing Calle Arenas are very noisy and hot if not air conditioned.Personell are polite but don´t have helpful information regarding services.

It whould have been nice to see the employees smile, somethimes. They did not seem very happy with their work and their guests.

Service is poor, receptionists are customer oriented

The only complaint I have is that I thought that parking and breakfast were included, which they were not.

The room and amenities were excellent. The bathroom was 1st class and the room was clean and a beautiful ambiance. The front desk staff was cold and lacked a wewlcoming quality, but the beautiful rooms and excellent value we received from Venere more than made up for this coolness.

Near to the metro station (about 300 meters). Very quiet zone. The rooms are clean and well furnished. The breakfast is not included and - even if very good - is not very cheep (11 euro pro capite).

PRICE IS OK, AND THE HOTEL WAS VERY GOOD LOCATED. HOWEVER I'VE BEEN IN BETTER 3 STARS HOTELS THAN THIS 4 STAR HOTEL. BUT FOR THE PRICE I CAN NOT COMPLAIN. BREAKFAST IS NOT INCL, LIKE MOST OF BARCELONA HOTELS.

Hotel Room too noisy. I could hear when the guest next door was sneezing or was when he was talking to his friends. Hotel staff was reluctant in providing me a different room. Hotel is in a nice neighboorhood, close to the metro 'Maria Christina'.

No surprise Please, indicate that they are very very few restaurants near by. The quality of the restaurant of the hotel is not excellent

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was corteous and helpful. The Metro is about a 5 min walk. The only negatives that I can think of are the small size of the elevators and limited parking spots.

Not where it was shown on map. very nice hotel otherwise. was shown near train station, but was not. almost missed our train because of this. high quality furnishings and renovation.

The location is great, the metro is only a 5 minute walk. Noise levels are bad though, as I could hear everything in the rooms next to us. Also, the hotel did not have a crib for our baby even though in phone conversations before arrival it was stated one would be available.

Outstanding value for the money, regardless of the weak dollar. I had to leave at 4 am. The man behind the front desk got me a cup of coffee after he called my taxi without asking. Very nice.

As we have gotten older we have chosen to stay at hotels a little off ways away from the central core or where "the action is". This properties proximity to the subway made visiting the requisite sites easy. It is located in a quieter safe residential area with a large department store (El Corte Ingles) that sells groceries nearby. The only two negatives are that the taxi driver from the airport was not familiar with the hotel so keep a record of its address. The walls are thin and the plumbing is noisy but I think this is not unusual for smaller hotels such as this.
