Hotel Howard Johnson Addison - Addison, Chicago

Solo tiene un incoveniente y es que está a 40 minutos en tren del centro de Chicago. Pero si coordinas los traslados a la estación de tren y los itinerarios del mismo, que en el hotel te proporcionan, ¡estupendo! Repito que tanto para ir o venir al hotel desde Chicago se requiere una hora al menos. Por lo demás calidad precio, EXCELENTE. Si fuera de nuevo no dudaría en volver a este hotel.

It was indicated on the advertisement that the hotel is walking distance from the nearest public transport. This was not true, as we had to take a taxi (or hotel transport) for extra payment to the nearest train station to travel to Chicago. Travel time took almost an hour per trip into the city and back at night. It was very inconvenient as we did not budget to spend extra for taxis.

I stayed in a twin room (2 double beds) There is airport transport service, but the hotel desk needs to be contacted to be picked up at the airport. The website is misleading; it reads that the hotel is within walking distance from the green and blue underground lines. The hotel is very far from downtown and not even close to any public transport.

Needs more lighting!

Website read: "just outside the loop, this is a central chicago hotel." it had a map indicating the closeness of the hotel to the loop. BOTH OF THESE WERE INCORRECT - was 30 miles out of chicago. Website was not willing to help me even after several emails regarding this matter. The hotel blammed the website so this matter never got resolved. The hotel IS NOT WHERE IT IS STATED ON THE WEBSITE. Very upset, caused alot of problems when trying to follow your map on the website - meant that we couldnt go out and drink as we had to drive into Chicago. Would not have booked it otherwise. HOTEL itself was perfect for the value, didnt expect any more or less. Shame the guy on the front desk couldnt speak English! And the breakfast had little variety.
