Good value. Good breakfast. Great room. A little far from the core shopping area but the room price made the walk worth it. The low score on the public areas was due to smoking being allowed in the bar and restaurant. Otherwise the public areas would have been great if they were non-smoking.

By car
Direct motorway connection from the A1 (from St. Gallen/Zurich Airport and Basle/Berne) and from the A3 (from Bernardino/Chur).
By train
From Zurich main railway station: take tram line 4 (in direction of Werdhölzli) from the Bahnhofquai/Hauptbahnhof tram stop and tram line 13 (in direction of Frankental) to Escher-Wyss-Platz. The Hotel Senator lies about 100 meters from Escher-Wyss-Platz.
By airplane
From Zurich Airport: take the shuttle bus or a taxi. It takes 15 minutes to the Hotel Senator. You can also take a train to the main railway station Zürich Hauptbahnhof. It takes 10 minutes to the central station.
