Hotel Schweizerhof Zürich - Zurich

The facilities were excellent and the staff could not do enough for you. There were so many little touches, the wine on arrival, the hot towels, the chocolate in my room. Wonderful!!!

I have visited Zurich previously, but this was the first time I stayed at the Schweizerhof. I was extremely impressed with every aspect of the hotel - the location (literally 1 minute to the Hbf; 3 minutes from the alt stadt along the Bahnhofstrasse, a 10 minute walk to the lake), the highly professional staff, the service, and the breakfast was truly amazing. I'm trying to find a reason to get back to Zurich just so I can stay at the Schweizerhof Zurich!

Professional service; excellent breakfast; was offered a glass of champagne while they readied our room, although we arrived early. Always helpful staff, especially the breakfast room servers and manager.

Excellent for proximity to Haubtbanhoff and transport system. Services in the hotel are above standard, although the bar is not nice due to smoke. One of the best breakfasts you can get anywhere and helpful service. Tip: get the riverboat from across the road, behind the Landesmuseum and sail down to the Casino on the lake using just a normal ticket.

My second time in this Hotel. I was pleasantly very well welcomed and my data were already on file, so check-in was very fast indeed! The electrical beds are very comfortable to watch television and relax in a way that is convenient to you. I am not exactly sure on the prices quoted. I paid for a superior room with single occupancy, which was about 25% more expensive than the standard one. The room was not very spacious and judging from the plan there were some bigger ones. Does this mean that the standard rate for a single traveler applies only to the smaller rooms with no view? Overall my stay was excellent and I will certainly go back to this hotel.

Efficient staff, comfortable room, excellent service

Very friendly, competent staff, both at the desk, on the floors and in the restaurant. Magnificent place, full amenities. Expensive. Great location. Literally steps from the Bahnhof. But this is a good thing. I only needed one fruit basket for my stay, but housekeeping appeared every day with a new one. And chocolate. A nice place.
