I like this hotel and have been there during my stays for the last 10 years. I can recommend it and would come back. The location is excellent as it is within quick reach of the centre. The relationship between price and quality is a general problem in Switzerland.

An excellent hotel convenient for opera-goers. All other sights of the city and the surroundings are easily to reach, either by walking or ba public means of transport. A station is nearby. Should I go to Zürich again, I would come back, and I can recommend the hotel.

Very good hotel, close to the lake and to the city, excellent situated, very clean and nice rooms; we got, as requested, a room with a view to the lake, but there are only few rooms with that opinion. There is no garage or private parking space that belongs to the hotel, but a very secure public garage in the neighbourhood. We had been very satisfied with our stay here and highly recommend this hotel!

We all had a very pleasant stay. The hotel management is excellent. The front desk personnel were helpful especially Andrea and Natalie. We also enjoyed visits with Martin who is the Ass't Manager of Opera and Ambassador. The location is wonderful and every thing in Zurich is accessible via public transportion. We used to call Paris our "favorite city" but now Zurich has replaced that designation Thank you for your concern regarding our experience. We will use your service and advice, again. How to reach Hotel Opera
By car
Once in the city centre, follow the signs for See (lake), then continue along Bellevue until reaching the Opera House.
By train
From the main railway station take the express train (S-Bahn) in direction of Stadelhofen and get off at Stadelhofen station, which is just around the corner from the hotel. You can also take tram line 4 along the Limmat river to the Opernhaus stop, a great way of getting to know the city.
By airplane
From Zurich-Kloten airport take the express train S16, that takes just 16 minutes to reach Stadelhofen station (only 200 metres from the hotel). If you first want to do some shopping on the Bahnhofstraße, you should get off at the Hauptbahnhof (main railway station).
