Hotel Fly Away Zurich Airport - Zurich Kloten Airport, Zurich

We needed a place for one night and it was very convenient location to reach next morning easy the Airport and it was quite area with many options of good Restaurants on ground floor of the hotel as well in walking distance. Its a price worthy stay for short term.

Much better than the welcome inn, rooms bigger. Good value so close to airport; Beds could be softer

Perfect location to take a train into Zurich and also close to the airport. Clean with what one needs for a short stay.

If you print the venere confirmation it lists the address as Zurich -- it is NOT -- it is actually Kloten. This error cost us hours of driving around using GPS with Zurich address. Room was very hot when arrived - told to open the window to cool down room - it lists A/C but it does not have it. It also lists tv, however, it was about a 12inch one that looked like it was made in 1980. Staff was excellent

I only had to overnight between flights and the hotel is a great location from the airport with the shuttle bus service making it very easy to go between. Nice big rooms and a good breakfast.

Clean and nice room, good staff. I do not have any complain about this hotel! and price is not expensive. if you can walk 15 minutes from this hotel ,you can get nice hills and view of swiss.

Perfect for last night and any other time. They got us to the airport right on time for a very early flight. Why don't hotels put their GPS coordinates on their site. If you use GPS do not put Zurich in the address. Only use Kloten.

As we were arriving late we booked close to the airport. The airport shuttle took us directly to the hotel - just a few minutes. The room was modern, clean and quiet (no planes overhead as I thought there may be!)We were delighted and enjoyed a relaxing evening and good sleep in. Late book out suited us fine and we enjoyed lovely (but expensive) breakfast at nearby cafe and walk around Kloten before catching train to Zurich which took only 15 minutes.

It was OK and priced cheaper than others in the area. The internet facilities need improvement as all that is available is an old Lenovo IBM Thinkpad laptop. VERY close to the airport. The "Italian" restaurant was only mediocre and I would go out if I went back. The rooms are comfortable and the water is HOT!

We had an early flight back to the US so stayed at the fly away. The room was clean and the airport transportation was on time.

The Fly Away is an airport hotel. The neighborhood is a quiet, suburban location. It is well-suited to one-night stays between connections at the Zurich airport. The Hotel has two restaurants open until 11 p.m., with very attractive prices. Airport-Hotel transportation is fast and convenient. Perfect for what it's meant to be.

Great location. The airport shuttle can get you to the hotel (on the half hour) in a couple of minutes, but the train to downtown Zurich is only a couple of hundred yards away. Best resturant around (as attested to by the crowds) is just off of the lobby. No need to wear your coat. It's an Italian pizza place. Better make a reservation.

I thought that the hotel provided exactly the function that I wanted it to. It was close to the Zurich airport and we had an early flight the next morning. It worked perfectly

This hotel was very convenient to Zurich Airport and provided excellent courtesy transportation to and from the airport. It was a pleasure being a guest at the Hotel Fly Away. Breakfast, should be offered earlier than 6:15AM for those with early flights and coffee should be made available in the lobby for early departing guest.

I chose this hotel because I had an early flight and the hotel was very close to the airport. I called the hotel before my trip and asked if they give any breakfast if I leave early and they said that they will supply me with a breakfast package. But as I arrived the lady in the reception simply told me "no,if you leave before breakfast we don't serve you anything-get something in the airport" she said that they can give me a water heater and a small package of instant coffie. I felt tricked- if I would have known I would not have chosen this hotel- I will be traveling quite allot to Zurich in the future but I will stay clear of hotel Fly Away!

Very nice hotel with nice restaurant. And very practical for a long stay between two flights.

I received a very warm welcome. Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is situated 5 min walking disatnce from train station - very convenient. Free shuttle service to & from airport. Had a pleasant stay. Unfortunately not much to do in the area in terms of sight seeing and entertainment.

Good value for the hotel. Airport shuttle was right on time. Close to the train station to ride downtown. Front desk staff very helpful. The rooms are clean but kind of dark. They have grey colours which are kind of dismal and the shower does not have a privacy door, but it is contained within the bathroom which does have closing door. It was fine for 1 night, probably wouldn't want a long stay there.

We were allowed to check in with only a 30 min. wait even tho we arrived at 10AM, expecting to just leave our luggage for the day. Altho small, the room was adequate, comfortable, had all amenities. Everything worked (except towel warmer which we think may have been off during warm weather-we didn't ask). Breakfast buffet seemed overpriced for limited offerings; but we found it compared well against others we found later in our journey. Train station about 2 blocks away made it easy to get into central Zurich in 15 min., or to other destinations.

We were given a room on the front side of the hotel above the outdoor restaurant, it was very noisy until 2300 hrs. also the directions given on the website are incorrect.

Desk clerk was very unfriendly. She seemed bothered by some of our questions regarding instructions to the airport. Carpet in our room was very dirty and stained. Other than these two issues, we really liked this hotel and will stay here when we return to Zurich airport area. Very good choice for travelers.

Clean and well organized, with excellent shuttle service from and to the airport. It has a reaasonably good restaurant.

This is an excellent stop for recovering from jet lag after an Atlantic crossover. Access is easy through the hotel shuttle bus. The food in the Italian style restaurant is superb. The service is friendly and multilingual. We were able to speak French and Italian. Others could be served in English and/or German.

We use this hotel every year. it is close to everything.the pizza is world class.

A SMALL HOTEL NOT LUXUS BUT CLEAN WITH NICE ROOMS (ONLY THE BATHROOM WAS VERRY SMALL)AND QUITE WHEN THE WINDOWS ARE CLOSED. (OTHERWISE YOU CAN HEARE THE NOICE OF THE AIRPLANES. VERRY CLOSE TO THE TRAIN STATION WHICH MAKES VERRY EASY THE CONNECTION WITH THE TOWN. THE PIZZERIA IN THE FIRST FLOOR WAS THE BEST THAT I HAVE MET IN MY LIFE. NOT EVEN IN ITALY HAVE EATEN SUCH A GOOD PIZZA. SOME OF THE EMPLOYES WERE VERRY KIND AND FRIENDLY (LIKE THE SPANISH LADE IN THE CAFFETERIA) AND SOME OTHERS HAD REALY BAD MANNERS.

Pleasant, clean, modern and very convenient to the airport.

This hotel is clean and comfortable. For the price it's a great deal. There are two excellent restaurants on the property. It's a 10 minute cab ride from the airport or use the free shuttle. For Switzerland you can't beat this hotel. We took the train from Luzern to Zurich Flughafen (Airport) and then took a taxi to the hotel. Thus, the hotel is also close to a major train station.

Upon arrival we discussed that the hotel did not have a room for both reservations and they were booked for that evening. They immediately found us rooms at a nearby hotel for the same rate. We decided to return to the Fly Away for the rest of our stay and were extremely pleased with this decision. The hotel accomodated all of our needs. We were able to get a better rate at the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel.
