Hotel Bristol - Zurich

Mostly i was disappointed. The room was very small, no air conditioning, breakfast was inadequate, all at a pretty high price. I would have expected more for the money.

We had a Superior Room which was excellent in every respect for a 3 night stay. All staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. While our room was not at the front, with our windows open for ventilation (no aircon) traffic noise was quite obvious in the morning and evening peak hours. While the connection fee charged was reasonable, a hotel of this class in a city such as Zurich should today be providing free wifi connections in guest rooms and the foyer lounge. Zurich is an expensive city and in these terms we believe the Bristol provided real value for money

Our group stayed for two nights and had a very pleasant time. The service was excellent and the room was clean. The room was a little hot so we opened the window. Unfortunately this allowed in the bugs. No screens on the windows. A VERY SMALL COMPLAINT to a very nice hotel and staff. The breakfast set out each day was very well maintained and kept very, very clean. Job well done by the person doing the breakfast.

This is the third time that my wife and I have stayed and the Bristol and we always enjoy our stay. The welcome is not as personal as some other hotels that we stay in, but the service is good and the rooms are just what you need.

The room is very simple. However, it is expensive for the quality.

This was my first visit to Zurich and Switzerland and I was very impressed - I will return someday and stay longer. Hotel Bristol was perfect for my stay. It was very convenient to the Main Rail Station and to the city center.The room was very clean and provided everything I needed. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the early opening time (0630) was perfect for my schedule. The staff was very friendly and most helpful.

This is a simple hotel offering budget stay for Swiss standards (the Swiss Franc is way too expensive and Switzerland is also a very expensive country). Although it was a little expensive for what it offers, compared to the other hotels in Zurich it had the best avaiable relation between price and quality at the time. The excellent surprise though was that the night receptionist spoke many languages including Portuguese. He was very solicitous, helping us with the directions in order to find the car rental company's office so we could return our rented car during Zurich's night.

The hotel is very nice and the staff was excellent and helpful. The location is very convenient to transportation with the train station and Zurich Central Tram/Bus stations close by. My room was quiet, clean and roomy. Additionally, they offered a service to wash a bag (theirs) of clothing for 15 chf. A real bargain in Switzerland. There is also Internet access available in the room via an ethernet cable at no charge.

Really available, competent and nice girls at the reception

Good location near the train station and major museum. It would be helpful to include directions on how to reach the hotel by foot from the train station, particularly since one needs to exit the train station on the side by the museum rather than by the main entrance towards the city center. Hotel Bristol is located on a quiet street and has a good breakfast with a variety of foods. Rooms are spacious but plainly furnished.

Very friendly and extremely helpful staffs. The location is very convenient and accessible to both train station and local transportation. The quietness of the environment is highly praiseworthy.

I just stay in Zurich for couple of days but I have to say that the location of the hotel is really good, you have the old town, pubs, restaurants, shops and everything close to you. The staff at the hotel is very kind and available. The room was very clean and nice. The bathroom was also very clean and with good shower. I liked the hotel a lot! So I reccomend you to choose Hotel Bristol if you are planning to visit Zurich.

The hotel was simple but really nice, the bedroom very clean and tidy, the breakfast area clean and the breakfast good. High competence and kindness of employees, able to speak fluent english. The prize is high for my standard but not for Zurich where, I think, is not easy to find the same quality/price ratio
