Hotel Jägerhorn - Zagreb

We only stayed 1night. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.very willing to help.It was the best room we had in all our stay in Croatia

Some edges of the room(floor) were cobwebbed, the kerchiefs had some yellow spots, we had to lock the room with a key permanently(otherwise somebody could enter from outside), and there was no ventilation in the bathroom.

It must be kept in mind that it is impossible to reach the hotel by car, therefore it is better not to have too heavy luggages. At any rate, the hotel is in the centre of Zagreb and parkplace is only 10 minutes walking from the hotel. Breakfast is very good.

Just excellent, the staff are all helpful and friendly and the outside courtyard is a wonderful place to sit for breakfast, coffee, or work,even in the rain (underneath the canopy) My stay was for 4 nights so the room was ideal for my needs (but not spacious) although I was shown one of the suites which was excellent Regular visits to Zagreb mean I will definately use the Jaegerhorn again

I new Jaegerhorn as excellent restaurant. Now I enjoyed in short stay. Quite limited number of rooms, very intimate, friendly atmosphere, very clean and proper, great quality. I used to stay in different large chain hotels such as Intercontinental, Sheraton, Kampinski,Holiday Inn,..... even several months long stays. I claim that I enjoyed a lot in this small hotel based in very quite island in the heart of downtown. While being on business trip in Zagreb I enjoyed in this hotel, which I do recommend.

Overall, a perfect budget stay in the heart of Zagreb if you prefer pensions over big hotels. Unfortunatelly, the restaurant is closed. The lobby is very nice and enjoyable, staff very helpful and communicative. Breakfast: not exactly luxurious but various and quality food, which is more than adequate for the star rating. The entrance (it's from the courtyard, a few steps away from the Ilica street)should be indicated more clearly to avoid searching.

Extremely friendly staff, excellent English spoken : provided information on events,places to see and printed out the Bus schedule at departure. The location of the Pension is excellent just 2 minutes walk to the central square. My only complaint is that there were two single beds in the room and that took all the available space ( one double bed would be idyll) The bed was very comfortable and linens immaculate. Breakfast simple and substantial. I would definitely stay there again.

A good clean and comfortable place to stay. There is some street noise-you can hear the trams- but no more that you would expect in a city centre hotel
