The Wengener Hof is one of the most venerable hotels in the world-famous Summer and Winter resort of Wengen. It was built just before the turn of the century as a small boarding house and was always extremely popular with visitors to Wengen because every effort was made to keep up with modern comforts and to provide a discerning clientele with a consistently high standard of service, accommodation and cuisine. To this day, the Wengener Hof's policy is to offer its holiday guests a comfortable yet elegant "home from home" and not to slavishly follow the latest fashion trends in the hotel.
The Wengener Hof occupies the best location in Wengen. It stands in its own woods and magnificent, extensive gardens which are a mass of blossom in summer, and has as incomparable view of the Jungfrau massif, the Breithorn chain and the whole Lauterbrunnen Valley. Though it is just a few steps from the village centre, the hotel is absolutely quiet at all times of the day and night. And Wengen is virtually traffic free. The village centre and Männlichen cablecar is just 3 minutes, and the railway station 5 minutes walk away on virtually level ground. Because of its excellent location, pleasant scale (65 beds) and comforts (4 stars), the Wengener Hof has for many years provided individual hospitality.This property has provided all content and is solely responsible for its accuracy.

How to reach Wengener Hof Hotel

By car
From Geneva International Airport: Take the highway in the direction of Lausanne, then Bern. From Bern follow the signs to Interlaken, and then Lauterbrunnen. When you reach Lauterbrunnen, leave the car at the railway station's parking lot and take the train to Wengen. Trains run about every 25 minutes during the day, and every hour from 8 p.m. until midnight. The train ride is about 15 minutes long.

From the airport's railway station take the train to Interlaken Ost. Here you need to take the local network train (Berner Oberland Bahn) to Lauterbrunnen and then Wengen.
