Following a week on business in Warsaw, I wanted to pamper myself a bit and checked in at the Polonia, partly also because most hotels have great weekend deals. I had chosen a Superior Double, and it certainly was big enough with lots of cupboard space and a massive en suite. 7th floor with slanted ceilings, and I could see the Palace of Culture when I leaned out one of my ceiling windows. Very stylish room, and the only thing that surprised me was the clunky, small TV and the only thing that annoyed me was the super annoying TV system they have. But hey, Warsaw is not for watching TV, is it? Next to public transport, incl the central station, but walking distance to the main tourist stuff if you don't mind using your legs a bit. Lots of shopping nearby, too. I would like to have wifi in my room, but I guess they want to encourage people to hang out in the bar area for a glass of wine to go with their Facebook activities. Breakfast was excellent, and half price when I was there, which made it even more excellent. I will consider this hotel for my next visit.

The hotel is accessible and served our purpose. It is close to Warszawa Centralny which we had to use to visit Krakow making it a very convenient base. Since we love to explore by walking there was no need to use the bus. We took taxis only by asking the hotel or restaurant to call it for us. The porters at Polonia are very helpful, too. I was surprised though that the towels and toilet paper at the hotel were of poor quality. I had better towels and toilet paper at lesser star hotels. I also didn't like that they use squeezable refill soap bottles for the sink and shower. That part felt like being in a cruise ship. Although it was disclosed that wi-fi is free, I think the hotel should still offer wired connection in room for free. They charged 10 euro for the entire stay which is fine by me but I thought it could be another plus to the hotel if it were a freebie. The breakfast buffet is a nice spread but for 18 euro on a regular day, it's on the pricey side if you fill up easily. It is 50% off on the weekend. The restaurant staff were stiff and too serious, but then again it's the culture. Overall, it was a pleasant stay as I had hoped to be.

Easy and convenient transport between hotel and most major tourist spots in Warsaw. We really liked this hotel. A bit pricy but certainly value for money. Only negative comment: the breakfast is way too expensive.

The hotel is well located (not so far from old town, near central station and commercial area), with good transport facilities (direct bus line 175 to the airport, tram and bus stops just in front of the hotel) kind and competent staff at the desk and the bar good and plentyfull breakfast...

I am not sure if the price I paid was due to the time of stay was non-peak season. It is really great for value as the room is spacious and hotel location is convenience. There is a direct bus service #175 from airport which stops almost right at its door step along Al. Jereozolimskie.

We are a group of 4 mature friends travelling together. We do not rent cars so location is very important to us. Polonia Palace Hotel was very centrally located. It was truly a lovely hotel. It was easy to explore the Old Town and many other attractions from this location. Upon arrival, we were greeted by very attentive and helpful staff. Check in was quick, easy and hassle free. Our rooms were spacious, clean and very quiet. However, we found the bar and food prices at the hotel very expensive and went elsewhere to eat and drink - very easy to do. We spent 3 nights at Polonia Palace Hotel and were very happy with our stay there. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Warsaw.

This was an amazing stay is one of the best hotels in Warsaw. Extremely good value. The staff were polite and attentive, the rooms spacious and comfortable and the hotel was ideally situated close to the central station. I must particularly recommend the breakfast which was fit for royalty. I would unreservedly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Warsaw. It's not cheap but it is worth every penny.

After settling our account & leaving the hotel we subsequently found our credit card had been wrongfully charged with 2 extra amounts. This issue has yet to be resolved (12 days at this time). On arrival, we were given inadequate instructions on how to reach the private car park. A printed map with street names & traffic direction should be provided for guests arriving by car. It took several phone calls to reception & the ISP Help Desk and several hours for the internet to be connected to our room. We ordered room service. Half an our later we were told that it was not available due to technical difficulties. Water was disconnected from our room for several hours without prior notice or any explanation. As non-smokers, we found the haze of cigarette smoke in the foyer/reception area very uncomfortable. Although there were many pleasant aspects to the hotel & our stay, we were surprised by the above inadequacies, given the hotel's status.

Better directions to the hotel would be helpful(the actual tram/bus stop from the airport/train station). The hotel staff was extremely helpful and attentive, the one night we stayed there was great. The food in the hotel restaurant was unbelievable and the breakfast well worth the money.

The Polonia Palace was fabulous. What a gorgeous hotel. I wasn't sure what to expect but was thrilled when we turned up and walked through the doors. In some countries people could claim this is a 5 star hotel. Great stay and would definitely recommend to others. I will be going back.

It was our first travel to Warsaw and our first stay at Polonia Palace Hotel. The welcoming was not that nice - may be because of our poor travel clothes (which were very comfortable to us during the 8 hour car ride)? Well, the whirlpool pretended on the website does not exist. And the sauna is separated by gender, which is strange to us who like to sit together and are used to do so. The breakfast was very good, but in my opinion not that "out of the world" as some people said here... Over all, the "Polonia Palace" is a good place to stay.

Excellent hotel, one of the best we have stayed in. Beautiful reception area, lovely rooms, very clean. We stayed in both rooms at the front and at the back, I would always opt for a room at the back due to road noise. Very close to a lovely shopping centre and a few minutes walk to the station which we used regularly to visit family. We were visiting Poland to attend a wedding the hotel was a fantastic retreat.

Didn't spend too much time in the hotel as I was only there for the night. The room was excellent although the bathroom was not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel...a little on the small side. The mini-bar and room service menu prices were close to outrageous and the bed was far too comfortable for anyone who had to get up early!!

Staff were not very friendly and seem not to care too much about guests. Internet connection in room did not work and the business centre (single pc in reception) also had problems.

THIS SUPERB HOTEL WAS IDEALLY SITUATED - IN THE CENTRE OF THE CITY AND ON THE MAIN BUS ROUTE TO/FROM THE AIRPORT. UPON ENTERING WE WERE TAKEN ABACK WITH THE BEAUTIFUL LOBBY AND RECEPTION AREA AND SUBSEQUENTLY FOUND THAT ALL THE HOTEL FACILITIES AND DECOR WERE IMPRESSIVE. AS FOR BREAKFAST, I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A HUGE CHOICE-EXCELLENT.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This place is a hidden gem. My wife and I were in Europe for 5 weeks and this hotel by far and particularly for the price was excellent. The rooms are very spaciuos, modern and very clean. The breakfast, that was included in the price, was something I have never seen before in all the travelling I have done. If you want you could even have champagne or iced vodka for breakfast. The variety was unbeievable. I now have a weight problem as a result of our two night stay. Warsaw is a very interesting place to visit and this hotel is a must to stay.
