Hotel Villa Malpensa - Vizzola Ticino

We were expecting a cheap (and noisy) hotel due to the location, all we wanted was a bed to stay after a long flight. This hotel exceeded all our expectations and was a stunningly beautiful welcome to Italy. Friendly and efficient staff and gorgeous surrounds, so convenient with the shuttle to the airport every half hour. We only noticed the sound of one plane in the morning. I would highly recommend this hotel if you need somewhere close to the airport

Very nice and quiet hotel close to the airport. Excellent for a stay in connection with late/early plane. Convinient with free airport-shuttle.

The hotel seemed to be somewhat short on staff the evening of our arrival- we waited some time for someone to appear at the registration desk and one waiter was taking care of the restaurant. However, the staff people who were there were very pleasant and helpful despite being overworked. We've been to this hotel 3 times previously and the lack of staff was a first, so this was an aberration. We always stay here when leaving Italy from Malpensa as it is extremely convenient to the airport.

The Villa Malpensa is magnificent!! Close to the airport, but quiet. Large swimming pool which we enjoyed. Surrounding grounds lovely. Very comfortable bed.

Airport shuttle service was good, but I had to call them from the airport. As they seem to have a shuttle service schedule, it would have been helpful to have that as well as the exit number from where the shuttle bus leaves to the hotel. The driver was friendly and nice. I first got a small room with very strong cigarette smell. I wondered if I paid 100 euro per room, then I called the front desk and asked them to change the room. I got a bigger room with a bigger bed, and no smell. Breakfast was nice. They seem to have a nice restaurant there, but the price seems too high for me. It is a beautiful building with a nice garden. I went to a short walk in the neighborhood, and I saw a group of nice local people standing outside chatting. It was nice. Yet, if you don´t have a car, there are no shops or restaurant within 5 to 10 minutes walk as far as I know. Internet access available with 1 euro per hour on the computer at the lobby level.

This hotel is like a breath of fresh air. It is charming and lovely. The staff was wonderful, friendly, and most spoke English. The dinner we had was excellent. The rooms are lovely and spacious. We would definitely stay there again.

The front desk staff's attitude boarded on rudeness. I felt very unwelcome.

If you have eary fly or late this hotel is very suitable for you!

This beautiful hotel is down the road from Milpensa Airport, but quiet and relaxing. My adult daughter and I arrived on separate flights. The shuttle picked me up in the early morning. I checked in to the room hours before scheduled. Although my daughter arrived on a late flight, I alerted hotel staff and they sent a shuttle to collect her. Service was impeccable. Restaurant fare expensive, breakfast buffet selection limited. Individual restaurant meals superb. Even though it was foggy and rainy, the surroundings were delightful. I'd recommend this location highly for anyone seeking to get away from high traffic areas.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL villa!!! Breathtaking! Rooms were spacious and ultra clean, great water pressure (!) with lots of hot water, comfy bed, OUTSTANDING view and a place we will always remember. We have been around the world, and the Villa Malpensa's service and quality is right in there with any huge 5 star hotel - even though very small and quaint. We dined in the villa's dining room and were impressed with their wonderrful menu, only exceeded by the wonderful taste of everything we tried. The wine menu was ENORMOUS...it took both hands to lift it! The dining room service was perfection, as was that of the hotel staff. A MUST if you need to stay overnight near the airport!!! The shuttle service to/from the airport was also reliable.
