A "hotel de caractère", in my opinion a nice typical French hotel in the beautiful historic towncentre of Vitré. Very, very helpful and charming female owner, very good breakfast (not really a "petit" dejeuner!). A good hotel for "older" (40+)couples who prefere the authentic French atmosphere instead of unpersonal "big luxury" (whatever that may be), for a very reasonable price. A pity the television did'nt work (for us not so important, we came for a town visit and a good sleep). The old medieval town (with big castle and many timbered houses) is beautiful, romantic. We had a good dinner in restaurant "soupe de choux". We surely will come back when we're in the neighbourhood.

A good place in the bulk of Vitrè. If you have an heavy luggage and you room is placed at the last floor, you will have also the opportunity to have a free body-building training...there's no lift and stairs are really narrow!
