A delightful location with wonderful hosts. Magnificent food and absolute attention to detail in all aspects. Our schedule only allowed 2 nights in mid-summer. A great base for summer mountain walking, winter skiing and local shopping/tourism.

How to reach Hotel Schwarzer Adler (Aquila Nera)

By car
Arriving from the North, having crossed the Brenner Pass, leave the A22 Motorway at the Sterzing / Vipiteno E45 exit and head toward the centre of the town. At the roundabout, straight on into a smaller curving road for approximately one kilometre until you reach the "Margareten-Kirche" or St. Margaret Church on your left. At this crossing turn right. The hotel is situated on the left at the end of the small road.

From the Innsbruck airport: 40 minutes.
From Verona airport: two hours.
