Hotel Best Western Saint Louis - Vincennes

This is a beautiful, elegant and sparkling clean hotel. The staff were very friendly and spoke English well. This is the hotel room I thought I'd be getting in the heart of Paris for twice the price last week and didn't. The only downside is that it's in Vincennes. But even if it's not in the heart of Paris, Vincennes has some nice restaurants, a botanical garden, some nice shops, lots of little parks and statues and it's right on the metro line that will take you into the heart of Paris. If you don't mind a metro ride, this is a wonderful hotel and good value. I'll return.

For a good value for money hotel in this area, an excellent choice. Breakfast better than same class hotel I have tried around the corner, "real" cheese, ham and salami.

very good. low price but high quality. also lots of restaurants/bars close to hotel, but the street itself was very quiet. would recommend it - although if the main purpose of your trip is sight seeing in central paris it may be abit far out, but this depends on priority. for a budget hotel, this place was excellent

On balance I thought the hotel was excellent but it was undergoing a substantial renovation. This meant the breakfast room and reception area were being painted and building work in other parts of the hotel made it rather noisy at times. My room overlooked the street and its proximity to one of the main routes into central Paris meant that there was a lot of traffic noise at night.
