It was a really nice hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. we also stayed at the novtel and that was about alot more expensive for a smaller hotel. there was not alot of room to move about in the attic bit but there was more extra space than in the family room of the novotel. The breakfast was not quite as good as the novtel but considering the price difference I would be happy with that. The internet also worked fine.

Room was very tiny with little space for toiletries in bathroom. Public space is really inadequate. However, friendliness and helpfulness of staff tend to make up for this. Excellent breakfast!

Hotel Tilto is generally very good. Location to the old town is great, staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was quite good with a range of cereals and cold meats, cheeses, bread and fruits. One negative was room facilities. We booked a family apartment and it consisted of two bedrooms and a bathroom. It was disappointing that there were no facilities at all, ie no fridge or tea/coffee-making facilities and no 'lounge' area.

Great hotel in the best location. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was ok, not fantastic. The room didn't have a little bar fridge or mini bar which means your own drinks are warm which in summer would be terrible. Rubbish bin was not emptied one day but that's not a big deal. Overall I recommend the hotel for it's location...

Room Details

Being a historic building, each one of the 30 guest rooms has its own particular character and feel. Although no two rooms are the same, there are is a series of appealing room types to choose from and every room comes with superb amenities, including climate control, wooden furniture and free wireless Internet access.

The standard Single, Double and Twin Rooms look over Tilto Street or into the hotel's courtyard and have a double bed or 2 twin beds which can be pushed together to make one bed; two of these rooms can be joined together to create a Family Room for 3-4 persons.

The Tilto Hotel also offers Deluxe Rooms for 2 persons, which are larger and have some additional features, such as slippers and bathrobes. Some of these rooms even feature a small kitchen too. If you want a room with a difference, then you could choose a Rooftop Apartment for 4 persons on the top floor, which is lit by skylights and includes a loft-style second bedroom.
