Great location, great place to stay. I had to check out too early for the great breakfast they serve, but they made me a to-go box for early checkout. If you want a generic box hotel - then the Ramada is best for you, if you want character and a very nice smaller hotel with individual attention - this is better. (note: I stay at both so I have nothing against either). The location is great, and quiet. The staff is very helpful. As a general rule, this is one of the only two places that I'll stay in Vilnius (skip the SAS, Eurpoa Royale and others - they don't measure up). (unless you can get afford Hotel Stikliai -- LOL)

All of the 31 guest rooms at the Shakespeare Hotel continue the literary theme which runs throughout this hotel, each one being dedicated to a particular author. In fact, objects and accessories connected with famous writers like Charles Dickens, Oscar Wilde, William Shakespeare, James Joyce and Leo Tolstoy can be found in every room.

There is also a wide choice of room types, although all rooms come with the same package of deluxe amenities, such as free wireless Internet access, complimentary bottles of mineral water and a fresh fruit basket. The main difference between the Business, Superior or Luxury Rooms and the Standard Rooms is that the former are bigger and have better views.

Daily housekeeping is provided and pets are welcome in every room of this pet friendly hotel.

INCLUDED/NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE Parking is included in the price. Small pets are admitted to the hotel at no extra cost, although there is an extra charge for larger animals. From Vilnus Airport: head southwest towards Rodūnios kelias and turn right at Rodūnios kelias. Turn left and then turn right towards Dariaus ir Girėno Street. Continue straight onto Dariaus ir Girėno Street and then turn right at Geležinkelio Street. Go straight ahead at the roundabout and then take a sharp left at Pylimo Street.
