Hotel Panorama - Vilnius

Location is excellent, when arriving at bus/ trainstation you see the Panorama hotel in front of you. Most of the local buses within Vilnius as well as the buses for the country-side leave from here. The Panorama Hotel offers free wifi in the hotel and it worked perfectly on the 4th floor but for the use of one of three computers at the reception the cost is a bit on the upper side. I treated myself to a good meal (three courses, incl bottled water and a glas of wine) at the restaurant for the modest price of 60 LTL or about 17 euros.

I was very happy with my choice of the Panorama for four days sightseeing in and around Vilnius. The location close to the station square turned out to be the best possible. It is the starting point for almost all municipal and regional communications and is only a few minutes walk from the old town. Ordinary, quiet room with fine view from the back side. Good breakfast buffet.

First time at Panorama - great location, close to major transport means. Stayed 3 nights in cosy but small room with a magnificent view of Vilnius. But very poor choice for a person who likes to have a nice breakfast at hotel.

The hotel is very very basic. Some renovation but still needs some work. Conveniently located next to the train and bus station but pricey for what you get.
