Poor reception on arrival. Good service for golfers. Breakfast fairly mediocre. Rooms fairly noisy but that was due to noisy guests in the early hours than down to the hotel. Bathrooms look in need a refurbishment. Nothing special about the hotel - served our puposes for golf.

This hotel is getting a little tired but it was clean, the staff were friendly and helpfull and for January there was entertainment every night and the bar was always open. The pool area was clean and adeqate. It cost 169 euros for three nights so for that you don't expect the Ritz. We would go back at that price anytime. Location wise it is right at the centre of everything in the marina area.

This was our second time to the Vila Gale Marina with a five year break between the two visits. We were still delighted with the hotel, service, quality and amenities. The hotel is very well positioned for the marina but is near enough to the beach to make this a five minutes or so walk. We will definitely return and it won't be another five years before we do !

except for the intial shock of been told for some reason our reseravation had been cancelled, the hotel upgraded us to a suite at no extra charge. Nice hotel,top location would go back.
