Hotel was very clean and staff were helpful at all times. The availability of sunchairs was not an issue. Didn't come across the noise issue from night clubs that other customers experienced previously. Evenings can be a bit quiet. Even though hotel entertainment is provided, it is poor.

Found staff friendly and competent knowing their position in answering queries. Breakfast and Bar Food excellent. Only once used the dining room in the evening as I found the dinner menu too much. The only complaint I would have is not been able to use the leisure centre without paying a cover charge.Otherwise a great Hotel and good location. This Hotel is very popular with golfers from UK & Ireland. I holiday every year in January to get away from the rain and cold. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good hotel at reasonable rates.

We reserved a Sea View Room. When we checked-in we were given a room that I guess was technically a SeaView, but it was really a very long distance sea view and the view was mainly into the other side of the hotel building. We complained and the next day, they moved our room to a much better view, so I appreciate the girl at the desk who did that for us. We were disappointed that there was a 5 Euro charge to use the gym. I've seen two star hotels with better gyms that didn't charge. We were disappointed in the hotel staffs knowledge of transportation options. I wrote to the hotel in advance and asked for best way to get from Lisbon to the hotel and asked about bus service. I was advised that I should take train to Loule and take taxi to hotel, which would have been quite expensive. I was told that they didn't know anything about bus service. As it turned out, from doing my own research, there was bus service from Lisbon directly to Vilamoura where the hotel is located. I think that is something they should have been knowledgable about. We traveled home on at 8:45am bus. The bus stop was about a 5 minute taxi ride away and with luggage, we couldn't walk. After breakfast at about 7:45am, I went to front desk and said that we are going to go upstairs, get our luggage and check-out. I asked the gentleman at the desk if he would call a taxi for us so it would be waiting for us. He said he would do so. When we came down at 8:00am, we checked-out with a female employee, but there was no taxi. We asked the man if he called, and he said that he didn't. He was waiting for us to check out. So the female employee called for us and said it would be here at any minute. At 8:20am, still no taxi. My wife went back in and asked the man to call again for us, but he wouldn't help her as he had to help another customer with an issue that was not as urgent as ours. I could not really fault the hotel apart from the indoor swimming pool. we had to buy swimming caps from the hotel before we could use the pool although in all photos hats were not used.( not a pretty sight a man in a swim cap). The breakfasts could not be faulted
