Newly built, the Carris Hotel Beiramar was designed by architect Cesar Portela with a striking facade facing the water. Its first floor restaurant overlooks the estuary and seats as many as 200 people. Three fully equipped meeting rooms are prepared to host meetings and banquets. The hotel’s reception desk is open 24 hours a day to assist guests with business services, laundry service, room service, and currency exchange. The hotel is equipped with its own business centre, fitness room, and private parking facility.

Located on Beiramar Avenue, which runs along the waterfront, the Carris Hotel Beiramar is near the Port of Vigo, the largest fishing port in the world. Approx. 2.5 km/1.6 miles to the west of the hotel is Liceo Marítimo de Bouzas (LMB) yacht club. The Liste Ethnographic Museum is approx. 2 km/1.2 miles south of the museum. Visitors will find excellent dining options and much of the Vigo nightlife around Puerta del Sol Square, in the Old Town district, a 20 minute walk to the northeast. Nearby is the Museum of Contemporary Art. Great Vigo shopping is found in the A Laxe shopping centre on the waterfront, near a terminal where ferries leave for Cies Islands National Park in the summer.
